Began role as a Finance Director/Division Controller of Blood Bank; supervised 3 accounting personnel and handled all
Blood Bank Division Finance and Accounting functions. Oversaw revenue activities and contract negotiations, software
capitalization, cash forecasting, collections, quarter-end accounting closes, sales administration, and HR processes and
procedures. Negotiated with vendors, ordered products and supplies, and maintained inventory. Rapidly progressed to the
Director of Business Development of Blood Bank Division; developed business partnerships and negotiated contracts with
instrument vendors and 3rd party consulting service providers who promoted Mediwares Blood Bank Software. Key
member of migration team to assist existing legacy hospital customers base to the next generation Windows-based Blood
Bank Software in collaboration with inside sale and customer support. Accountable for services provided to over 500
customers and administered a $5M dollar budget.
