Nowadays, security and safety is a big thing in our society. With the recent ISIS killings, Syria bombings, and NSA scandals, people have become more tolerant when it comes to their security and

safety. They always make sure that their house is safe and secured. But when they come to other
establishments, how can people still be safe and secured?
Fortunately, there are people whose job is to protect us, to guard us, and to provide us the safety
and security that we need. Those people are the unsung heroes of our society. And they are the:
SECURITY GUARDS.
We found a security guard who have made a difference in our society with his own ways. And we
hope well get you inspired with his amazing job.

A quick look at the extraordinary job of Mr. Asis

Mr. Bernard Asis

Guarding the dead for 7 years.

What is his job?

Mr. Asis is a security guard at the Montalban Memorial Park. He makes sure that the
life and the properties of the people inside the
park are all safe and secure, whether theyre
dead or alive. He secures the park for 12 hours

from 7 am to 7 pm.

What makes him different?

Providing safety and security to all living people is such a difficult task. But providing those two also to the dead people is more
difficult. He always have to make sure that
the graves and the people inside the park are
all safe and secure. He also have to guard the

graves at night which is scary.

What are his roles?

Mr. Asis patrols the entire park all the time.

He monitors the graves, gates and the people and their belongings inside the park to make sure theyre safe and secured.

Mr. Asis also guides the visitors inside the park.

He guides the visitors, especially the new ones, to stroll or look

around inside the park.

Mr. Asis spends 12 hours everyday just to provide a safe environment for us. He sacrifices much of his time for
his family just to ensure we are safe and secured. The efforts and sacrifices he makes are what makes him an
inspirational person. His presence serves as a deterrent to potential lawbreakers. Without him, crimes might be
everywhere. And thats why we must give him and the other security guards our sincerest appreciation.

A successful society needs peace, security, and safety, And there are no other
people who can provide that except security guards, whose job is to make sure that our
society is a safe, secure, and a peaceful place to live. Without them, our world would be
in a total chaos, and people might not want to live on our planet anymore since they
would feel that they arent safe here.
Nobody wants to live in a chaotic society, and thats why they are here. They are
here to sacrifice their time and energy just to make sure our society is under control.
And thats why we should thank them. We should thank them for making our world a
better place.
To the unsung heroes out there, we thank you for making our world a better
place. And we hope we can repay the sacrifices you made just to do your job.

Dr. Jose Rizal believes that the youth is the hope of our future. Mr. Asis also agree with Dr. Rizal. And he
wanted to tell to the youth this message:
The youth today are more harsh and aggressive so they should not go with the flow of their overflowing
emotions. And for the youth that aspires to have a great contribution to the society, they must study hard,
avoid vices and friends that create a bad influence, and they should also listen to their parents. But the simplest yet biggest contribution that they can make is to be a good citizen of their belonged nation."
