1. Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord

from the power outlet.

3. Remove the Finisher Exit Tray (two screws).

4. Remove the right and left Exit Tray Mounting

Holders (one screw each).

After unpacking, be sure to get rid of the

packaging materials and keep them out of
the reach of children.
Putting your head in the wrapper involves
danger of suffocation.

8. Using six screw Bs furnished with the Mailbin Kit,

secure the Mounting Brackets in position following the order shown in the illustration (three
screws each).

5. Remove the right and left covers (two screws

each).

6. Using nippers, cut out the knockouts.

9. Reinstall the right and left covers, which have

been removed in step 5 (two screws each).

7. Place the Mounting Brackets (Right and Left).

Note:
Make sure that the flat surfaces of the brackets
face inward.

10.Reinstall the left Exit Tray Mounting Holder that

has been removed in step 4 (one screw).
Note:
Install the holder at a level one step lower than
that, from which it has been removed.

14.Loosen the screw shown in the illustration, move

it in the direction of the arrow, and tighten it again.
Note:
This step should be done securely.
If not, any trouble may happen.
Do not move the screw by using the Adjust Plate.
Be sure to move the screw itself.

11.Using nippers, cut out the crosshatched portion

of the right Exit Tray Mounting Holder that has
been removed in step 4.

12.Reinstall the right Exit Tray Mounting Holder (one

screw).
Note:
Install the holder at a level one step lower than
that, from which it has been removed.

15.Mount the Mailbin Unit on the Finisher.

16.Push the Mailbin Unit in the direction of the arrow
so that it locks in position.

13.Reinstall the Finisher Exit Tray that has been

removed in step 3 (two screws).

17.Using two screw As furnished with the Mailbin

Kit, secure the Mailbin Unit.

25.Open the Misfeed Clearing Cover and install the

Misfeed Clearing Lever.

18.Remove the connector cover of the Finisher (one

screw).
19.Using nippers, cut out the knockout.

26.Affix the Label onto the Finisher.

20.Remove one screw for the ground wire and then

secure two ground wires together using one
screw.
21.Connect the connector.
22.Fit the snap band.

23.Reinstall the connector cover that has been

removed in step 18 (one screw).
24.Install four Exit Trays.
