ABSTRAK

Rancang bangun mesin mixer bahan pembuatan pelet ikan lele dengan
motor listrik 1 HP ini dibuat sebagai hasil dari ide rancangan untuk
memudahkan proses pengadukan yang masih manual. Rancang bangun
mesin ini dibuat sebagai pengabdian masyarakat untuk membantu usaha
kecil menengah dalam bidang peternakan ikan lele. Mesin ini dibuat dengan
menambahkan regulator sebagai pengubah kecepatan putar mesin mixer.
Proses pembuatan rancang bangun mesin ini dimulai dari pengerjaan
komponen-komponen non-standar, kemudian dirangkai dengan komponen
standar menjadi sebuah rangkaian mesin mixer, lalu dilakukan pengujian
mesin untuk mengetahui kinerja dan kapasitas mesin. Sistem kerja mesin ini
yaitu motor penggerak terhubung dengan daya listrik melalui regulator yang
berfungsi sebagai pengubah kecepatan putar motor, putaran motor
ditransmisikan ke reducer menggunakan v-belt, reducer mereduksi putaran
motor yang kemudian ditransmisikan ke poros penggerak screw pengaduk
menggunakan kopel. Bahan-bahan adonan pelet dimasukkan kedalam
hopper, dengan menekan tombol switch on maka mesin akan berputar dan
mengaduk adonan, hasil adonan dapat dikeluarkan dengan membuka
penutup sliding dan adonan akan turun ke penampung. Mesin ini mempunyai
kapasitas pengadukan hingga 50 kg/jam. Putaran mesin ini bergerak secara
kontinyu dengan mengubah kecepatan putar mesin menggunakan regulator
dan akan berhenti dengan menekan tombol switch off.

This engineering machinery manufacture of material mixer catfish

pellets with 1 HP electric motor is created as a result of design ideas to
facilitate the mixing process that still manual. This machine design is created
as a community service to help the small and medium enterprises in the field
of catfish farms. This machine is made by adding a modifier regulator as the
engine speed mixer. The process of making this machine design starts of
processing components of non-standard, then assembled with standard
components into a mixer machine series, and then do the testing machine to
determine the performance and capacity of the machine. This machine
working system is the motor of this machine connected to the electric power
through the regulator which function as modifiers motor speed, rotation of
the motor is transmitted to the reducer using the v-belt, reducer reduce motor
rotation and then transmitted to the drive shaft using a screw stirrer by a
coupling. The ingredients dough of pellets inserted into the hopper, by
pressing the switch on the machine will spin and mix the dough, the result of
dough can be taken out by opening the sliding cover and the dough will drop
to the reservoir. This machine has a mixing capacity of up to 50 kg / h. The
spin of machine is moves continuously by changing the engine speed using
the regulator and will stop by pressing the switch off.
