PROBLEM STATEMENT
Malaysia
boasts
over
5
million
primary
and
secondary
school
students.
Unfortunately,
many
students
lack
important
problem
solving
skills
crucial
for
a
productive
work
force.
Malaysia
ranked
39
out
of
44
countries
in
the
problem-solving
test
for
15-year
olds
on
the
Programme
International
Students
Assessment
2012.
As
such,
eorts
are
needed
to
improve
skills
in
critical
thinking,
problem
solving,
and
higher
order
thinking
for
children,
if
the
country
expects
to
produce
better
education
results
and
a
more
productive
work
force.
