Essay:
1.The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others.
Feelings are different. We know how to feel and to behave, but
we dont know exactly how to express it. Thats why it is
important the way one treat himself sets the standard for
others.Respect is a word, which you dont use and dont hear
every day. But you know that you have right to be respected
as a personality. And if you treat yourself with respect the
others will treat you with that same respect. If you have low
esteem, you shouldnt expect others to think highly of you. You
can become an even more excellent person by constantly
setting higher and higher standard for yourself and then by
doing everything possible to live up to those standards.
Remember, the way you treat yourself, makes treat you the
same way. Love yourself first and everything else falls into
line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in
4. Highway to happiness
Most of us want to be happy. But what is happiness?
Is it something that you feel at a fleeting moment or does
it has to last a certain amount of time before it can
officially be called "happiness"? While the thought of
blazing through the sky after jumping out of a plane may
spell utter bliss for some, others may shiver at the mere
mention of it. What one person defines as something that
keeps them smiling may be just the thing that makes
another person miserable.
Experts say that happiness is an emotion, and just
like any emotion, it comes and goes. Also like any
emotion, some people simply seem to experience it more
than others. It is even believed by some that everyone
has a "happiness baseline." If this is true, then no matter
what happens in our life, we will always return to our
original level of happiness after a certain amount of time.
Of course, there are many other things that can
contribute to our happiness other than those listed
above. Although this may come as a surprise to many,
money does not account for much when it comes to
happiness. Once people accumulate wealth, they are not
any more satisfied with their life than those who can only
afford to meet their most basic needs.
In the search for happiness, we often look to others
to make us happy. Then when we find ourselves anything
less than pleased, we play the blame game and hold
them responsible for the cause of our feelings. However,
only we can be held accountable for our own happiness
because only we have the power to change the situation
we are inWhen it comes to achieving happiness, it's important
not to forget the small stuff. By concentrating too much
on being happy, you may be missing out on the "little
things" that are right in front of you every day that can
cause enjoyment. Simply appreciating the little things in
life and learning to love, forgive, laugh, and live can lead
to lifelong satisfaction. Now that we're armed with the
map to happiness, we may be wondering where to start.
Everything is going to change more in the next ten years than it has
in the last hundred, so its difficult to think about 100 years in the
future. To think about an indefinite future is very interesting. No one
knows the world of 100 years in the future. I just guess about it;
however, I think it will be better to live then than now
.I can't say for sure whether the world will be a better or worse place
after 100 years, because I think one part will change for the better,
while another part will be worse. In the technology, everything has a
different type. Many new machines have been invented. Those
things will help people more efficiently.
You can finish every work by "one touch"; you just hold a small
remote, and it will order everything. For example, the car will drive
to your house by itself according to your orders; the TV will choose
the best program and tell you what is the important news for you
today. We will have no traffic jams, because the cars will fly in the
sky; you don't need to drive them, because everything is
automatic .On the other hand, when we get so many new things in
our life, that will cause some problems in life. Maybe people will feel
strange around other people, because we will hardly talk to one
another. We have known all of the answers by modern machines. We
use the Internet to connect everything. However, we need to
consider that eye contact, face expression, and physical touch are
very important to human beings. I think technology is great; it can
make our work very easy. Computers make our work easier.
Sometimes there are problems, because when the system doesn't
work, we can't do anything. I don't like this problem, but I know
technology in the future will become better. I know our work will
become easier, too. We need to know how to use these new
programs. Technology in the world is very important, because
everything such as all personal data, banking, records, and drivers
licenses are in the computers. If they stop, we can't do anything.
This is not good for us. I hope Technology never stops. We need to be
happy with the advance of Technology, because it's very good. I like
to know about the new advances, and I would like to learn more

8.We are use up the earths natural resources faster than
even
No doubt we using the earths natural resources faster than ever.
The use of natural resources adversely the ecology of the earth and
our lives. Imagine how many trees die for the sake of what you
would have had notebooks Just think how many animals we have
left without a home, and for what? We do not appreciate nature, and
yet it is not infinite. At this rate we soon will destroy the whole of
nature, everything that surrounds us. We must learn to use natural
resources wisely, and recever them. Look around, look at the natural
beauty that is dying because of us. And how much is pumped out of
the natural resources of the earth for profitOnly we can stop it!
Imagine that you child see? And see if he do something? People use
natural resources to make gasoline and electricity. People use many
natural resources to make their lives easier. There are different kinds
of natural resources. Some natural resources are renewable, and
some resources are non-renewable. Renewable resources can be
replaced. Plants are renewable resources. Plants might get cut down,
but they can grow back. Animals are renewable resources. They can
reproduce. Solar energy is a renewable resource. Solar energy comes
from the Sun. No matter how much solar energy you use, there will
always be more. Wind, water, and soil are also renewable resources.
Long ago, people did not even have to think about conservation.
There were very few people. Then, people learned to use natural
resources. They learned that using wood, ores, and other natural
resources could make their lives easier. People began to live longer.
The number of people living on Earth grew and grew.
Today, billions of people live on Earth. All these people use more and
more natural resources. People are using up fossil fuels and other
natural resources faster than the planet can replace them.
9.A good reputation is more valuable than money
Reputation, reputation, reputation! Oh, I have lost my reputation! I
have lost the immortal part of myself, and what remains is bestial." William Shakespeare
money is important and reputation is so sacred. Sometimes even if
we don't want to choose, there will come a day that we have no
other option but to decide which is which.
A good reputation is not something that is achieved overnight; it's
the product of persistent action over time. A lot of people spend their
days shooting their mouths off (which is why we have Big Al hanging
around, he makes sure these loudmouths stay in their place). But
shooting your mouth off won't get you anything but a rep for being a
"blowhard." A good reputation is earned by saying the right things
and following up with the right actions
Reputation is information used to make a value judgment about an
object or person. It is a critical tool that enables us to make
decisions, both large (like where should I go to college?) and small
(Where should we eat for dinner tonight?). The reputation of
anything is a important time-saving mechanism so we don't have to
develop a personal relationship with each and every person,
company, organization, or product in the world. But the flip-side is
just as important and pervasive-there are a multitude of reputations
currently in place evaluating you, your performance, and your
creations. This is also true for the groups that you are a member of:
work, professional, social, or congregational. They all have
aggregated reputations that you are a part of, and their reputation
reflects upon you as well. These reputations are often difficult to
perceive and sometimes even harder to change. Money play a huge
role in our life .Sometimes it can be more important than other
human values such as: honesty, helpful, openhearted and others. I
think we should put reputation on the first level because only that
we will be recognized by others like a model of good person. We also
can build reputation using money but we should not forget that
money also can destroy our imagine.
10.Leisure is tie for doing something useful
Leisure may be defined as the spare-time which a man gets after his bread and
butter activities are over. It is the time which a man is free to pass in any way he
likes. He has already his day's work. He has no longer to worry about the work
by which he earns his living. Still he has sometimes left on his hand. That is
leisure or spare time. A man gets more of leisure during holidays that in working
day. Modern life is a busy life. The pace of life gets faster and faster every day
and a man must hurry and utilize every moment of his life, otherwise he would
be left behind in the race of life. But some leisure is necessary for the happiness
of life. There can be no happiness for a man, unless he gets some time to pass
in the way he likes best. The great English poet Davies protested against this
over-business of life when he wrote. The poets consider that life is not worth living without
leisure. One must have enough time to enjoy the beauties of nature, and the beauty of women
as well as other good things of life. One must have time for singing, dancing and pursuit of other
fine arts, for all such pleasures and activities are an essential part of life. If a life lacks these
elements, it would be dull, dry and unhealthy. In short, as the poet has emphasized, life would
not be worth-living without leisure. But merely to have leisure is not enough. It is also essential
that it should be rightly used. India, as a nation, do not know how to put their spare time to right
use and consequently we often hear people complying that they feel tired during holidays and
vacations. Such people misuse their leisure. They would either pass it in sleeping, playing cards,
idle gossip, listening to the radio, or at the most in visiting the pictures. They are all passive
activities-activities in which they do nothing and which do not at all require any use of their
brains. Therefore, such people feel bored and instead of wishing for more of leisure, wish for less
of it.The spending of leisure rightly is an art, and a difficult art. It must be spent in activities
which require some, doing", some acting, some use of the brain. The correct way of passing
leisure is to acquire culture, to make and contemplate beautiful things. Leisure may also be
passed with great profit in the making of beautiful things.. The
11.A heart that l The subject of love is one that has inspired poets,
The subject of love is one that has inspired poets,
writers, those lucky in love and those who have been
passed over by Cupid...Love has been defined as wise,
silly, profound, bitter, funny...It seems as if each and one
of us has a different understanding of love, or at least
the attitude to love varies greatly from person to person..
It may be a surprising revelation to some of us, because
love has traditionally been considered to be something
that unites people( at least that's what I've been
taught). And yet, there's no use denying the fact that love
has as many definitions as there are human beings on
this planet. And it doesn't Love is a feeling that makes you stronger and
helpsyou get through a crisis. It's something I can't imagine my
life without. necessarily mean that love no longer unites people. It just
means that love has different dimensions, different sides
that reflect our understanding of life.
many individuals fell they can have no effect on them Problems like oil
spills ,hazardous wasre .loss of rain forests endangered species ,acid rains the
ozone layer can fell out of our control At the very least these problems, require
group and corporate action or government intervention .However ,there are
some things the individual can control Our waste reduction and recyclind
activities can make a difference There are a lot of volunteer activities that
are aim to save the Earth .We must be hardworking and realize each of them .
Love for our planet can save it . First of all we should recognize that our planet
is in great danger and after this we should pass to actions .
16. Fashion is something we deal with everyday. Even
people, who say they don't care what they wear, choose
clothes every morning that say a lot about them and how
they feel that day.
However, we definitely get fashion ideas from music
clips, videos, books and television. Movies also have a
big impact on what people wear. For example it is known
that more sunglasses were sold in America after the
movie Man in Black.
Depending on their attitude towards clothes and
fashion, people can be divided in three groups: -fashion slaves, spending all
their money on the latest
clothes even if they don't look good in them;
-fashion fans, who enjoy wearing modern clothes but not
obsessed by them; -people that just do not care the way they look;
Of course there are big companies tha< do not allow
people to come at work in what they want, they have to
respect the dress code, registered in the policy of each
big company. According to the dress code, an employee
is not allowed to wear certain items of clothing to work.
For example, men are supposed to wear ties and
business suits, and nobody is allowed to wear jeans,
except on Fridays. Women's clothes are not supposed to
be skintight, too short and too open. All of the shirts are
supposed to have collars. Clothes also can't be too
bright, the colors should correspond to the corporate
colors - dark blue and white.
20.Instruction ends in the schi=ool-room but education ends with life
The school is an immense world of knowledge. It spend most of their time and
study students. How hard it was for a child who comes in first class, with his
little tiny hands to display every letter, every tsiferki, and how easy it was to
find common language with their peers. The school is a big family, for each
student, and as in any family and the school have their parents - a teacher. It
was they who first taught us to write, read, comprehend the depth of
knowledge. In school, we find real friends, gain knowledge and learn from life.
The school gives us support, brings warmth and joy. Teachers devote our soul.
Cozy atmosphere betrayed school walls, which are drawn characters of fairy
tales. The school runs many activities in which children sing songs, dance and
poetry tell, put acting performances. It is at such events, each child can show off
their talents to others. Our school surrounded by a beautiful, cozy park. At the
school has a basketball court, a variety of horizontal bars.
The school is one of the most wonderful time of life. Memories of her are the
lightest.Sometimes I look at the first-graders, and I so want to return time and
again to go to primary school, to relive the joys and tribulations of junior pupils. I
love my school and I guess I will be very sad to part with it. I think when we
grow up, and we will have families of their own, with sorrow we shall remember
our childhood, carefree school days, our school house, which was so warm and
cozy and our classmates, who became for us native people.
21. Importance of money in modern
society.
ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.' This
is the first commandment of God's 1 0 Commandments.
In my opinion this would be the hardest commandment
to follow in a modern society that is so enamored with
money. The power of a dollar is a leading concept in a
modern society. Many organizations and businesses in
modern society revolve around money. It's almost to the
point where money can be seen as its own entity which
would place itself above God in many cases. Money is
something that everyone, atheists and religious leaders
included, are able to see eye to eye on. The importance
of money in today's society is rather large. Money finds
itself everyone across society. I've personally seen many
relationships go sour over disputes involving money.
Cash has the ability the transform even the best people
into greedy savages. Modernity is a society that lusts
money. Money determines many things in society. People
got through many years of schooling with the hope that
they will graduate making six figures. Money determines
ones social position in society. The more money you have
the easier life is for you. Those born in money seem to
have to work less than those bom without it. We turn on
the television and wonder what celebrities like Paris
Hilton, and Nicole Ritchie do for a living. And the answer
is nothing. They don't have to work because they were
lucky enough to be born with money. The thought of the
"easy life" ties hand in hand with the power of a dollar
and people in a modern society fight for that life.
So it is very difficult to live out the first
commandment in a modern society. Money is too
powerful of a tool for it not to diminish the morals and
values of many Americans. It is held too high in society.
In a modern society, money is the equivalent to the air
we breathe. Everything depends on money. It's the one
thing the majority of society will agree they couldn't live
without. Money is the god that many place above God.

Books
Except for a living man there is nothing more
wonderful than books. They teach us and open their
hearts for us. We learn many things by reading books.
They make the world much larger for us. They tell us how
great and wonderful man is. Books expand the
boundaries of the familiar world for us.
Some books arouse our interest, delight, feelings of
curiosity and admiration, some make us think which is
very important and demand great erudition on the part
of the readers, some entertain, amuse us giving pleasure
and delight. We can hardly read some books and stories
for laughing and some dramas and romances for tears.
Books arouse different emotions in us; they
penetrate deep into our souls and hearts. We love and
suffer, feel sympathy or indignation, cry or laugh,
struggle and reach success together with the characters
of the books. Books have a great impact on our
characters. We are influenced by good examples, they
add to molding of our characters and forming our moral
values. Books give food for our mind and warmth for our
soul. We should love books as they are the sources of
knowledge and can make us strong, intelligent, and well
educated. There are different kinds of books, which appeal to
different kinds of readers. They are science-fiction and
fantasy stories, detective and spy stories, tales and fairytales,
books about animals and nature, adventure books
and Dooks about travels, humorous stories, historical
dramas, Diographies and autobiographies, essays. It's so
nice to read ooems which gradually are unfolding and
revealing their rich inner self, as one reads them again
and over again.Readers can be divided into some groups. The most
popular group is people who read fantastic stories. Another not so popular, but
a very interesting group is
people who prefer romantic and detective stories. And
the last group is people who like to read non-fiction
literature. There are many other small groups, but those
three is bigger than others.
