Everyone loves a donkey so it is time we celebrate these wonderful, sweet, gentle and loving
equine friends with the inaugural Donkey Days.

Donkey Days is also open to mules and hinnies. On this form, donkey is used interchangeably with
hinny or mule.
Date / Time: Sunday, September 20th; 10 am - 4 pm
Location: Alex Fraser Park
Entry Fee: $5.00 / donkey (Cheques are payable to the Bouchie Lake Country Store)
Deadline to Enter: September 15, 2015
Activities:
1. Donkey Parade, Donkey Games, etc.
2. Donkey Show Categories: Please see Page 3 for Classes
3. Donkey Colouring Contest (for the kids on the day)
All entrants should note the following:
1. Donkeys Story: All entrants must submit their Donkeys Story (on a 8 1/2 x 11 paper) with completed
Registration Form. Each Donkeys Story should include the following information: Donkeys Name, Age (if
known), Gender, Donkeys history, and owners name. This information will be laminated and made
available on Donkey Days so it can be hung up on the pen where the donkey is spending its day.

2. Donkey Trivia: All entrants are asked to create a Poster Board of some Donkey Trivia. This information
should be educational and should highlight something special about donkeys. Please include some
photographs.
3. All registrants are asked to let us know which of the class categories you are entering (see page 3). All
classes will be awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons.
4. It will be greatly appreciated if registrants are able to assist in the capacity of set up, organizing prizes,
and /or other administrative tasks. Please let us know your availability.
5. All registrants will be emailed prior to Donkey Days to confirm set up and other important details.
6. Please bring everything your donkey needs for the day (halters, leads, water buckets, hay, treats, grain
etc.)
