Worlds largest refinery, having capacity of 1240 KBPSD. I have been involved in Development, Commissioning,
Operations and Maintenance of JERP CPP having 1200 MW capacities which includes 6 Gas Turbines (Frame 9E) of
116 MW, 9 Gas Turbines (Frame 6) of 30 MW, 6 nos of HRSG having 315 TPH capacity each, 9 nos of HRSG
having 125 TPH capacity each, 4 nos of Auxiliary Boiler having 275 TPH capacity each,6 nos of Auxiliary Boiler
having 125 TPH capacity each, 6 nos of steam turbines of 30 MW and 2 Steam Turbines of 28 MW capacities. I have
been involved in following activities.

Installation and Commissioning

Commissioned of 2 Nos Back pressure Steam turbine generator (28 MW), 1 Gas Turbine (116 MW), 1 HRSG (315
TPH), 2 Nos HP MP PRDS (500 TPH) and various steam driven pumps.
Actively involved in a variety of functions such as review of P&ID, PFD, DATA SHEET, LOGIC, SAMA of
various systems/drawings, system implementation, statutory compliance, etc.
Supervision of the projects to ensure its execution within the time & cost parameters acting as interface between
commissioning team and operations department.
Worked in start up of a power plant as a field engineer. Detecting failure of equipments and implementing new
designs for successful running of plant.
Thorough knowledge of various plant sub-systems, logics, interlocks, protections, plant operating procedures under
normal, start-up, shut-down and emergency conditions.

Operations/Maintenance
Has experience of Gas Turbine operations controlled by Mark VI technology, steam turbines operations controlled
by Turbo log & boiler operations controlled by DCS.
Ensuring strict compliance with safety procedure, work permit procedure by ensuring permit to work compliance
and appropriate job safety analysis, which include isolation of problem areas and perform electrical switching as
may be needed
Preparing, monitoring and controlling plant operating budget and ensuring costs remain within approved budget.
Establishing plant performance targets that support the business plan and ensuring that plant performance meets
plant performance targets. Reviewing and evaluating plant performance and implementing plant improvements
and/or corrective actions to ensure maximum operating efficiency in accordance with approved policies and
procedures.

Developing and continually updating overall plant operations, maintenance, environmental and safety procedures to
ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
Monitoring of process parameters as per standard operating condition, trouble shooting and timely corrective action.
Managing plant activities, condition/risk/predictive based maintenance activities, preventative maintenance and
overhaul procedures, and ensuring compliance with established standards.
Responsible for working with OEM to program, plan and execute combustion inspection (CI), hot gas pass
inspection (HGPI) and major inspection (MI) in a timely and cost effective manner.
Maintaining current knowledge of new concepts, trends, and methods in the field of power plant operations and
associated and applicable government rules and regulations.
Providing inputs on the preparation/correction of the SOPs, Risk Assessments etc.
Suggest improvements for process optimization and equipment design.
Planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules of various machineries and instruments to increase
machine up time and equipment reliability.
Ability to carry out troubleshooting under emergency conditions and deciding upon course of action for people and
plant safety.
Escalate critical decision like plant load adjustments, shutdown etc. to senior management.
Giving training to new employees for taking charge as a panel officer and field engineer and supervising
their activities.
