Project Proposal

Introduction

TAMCare commenced operations in early 2009 to provide charitable and social services to
the less privileged children in the northern and eastern province of Sri Lanka and is
registered as a Trust organisation in Australia.

We believe that there should be a balance between the protection of children affected by
the civil war in Sri Lanka and the provision of opportunities to enhance their standard of
living. As a passionate organisation, we strive to deliver programs and services to young
children in a professional and supportive manner through the medium of financial
assistance.

We collaborate with other not for profit organisations to reduce unnecessary duplication of
services and administrative overheads to achieve the best results for the young people we
support.

Our goals are set out in a three stage plan. Stage I consists of providing immediate
emergency aid through financial and educational assistance. Stage II and III highlight the
long term goals of building homes for the displaced and orphaned children and ultimately
establishing a community for them.
