SUMMARY

I am currently attending Indiana University Southeast where I am working toward a


bachelor's degree in Communications with minors in Business and French. I am eager to go
into sales or public relations, but until May, 2016, when I earn my degree, I'm working part
time at Floyd Memorial Hospital and building a network of exceptional professionals.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

As a Communications major I feel very confident speaking with people and building a report.
I take direction well, and learning by doing does not phase me. I feel comfortable using
business applications, such as Excel and Access.

Provide patients with an excellent first impression of Floyd Memorial Hospital. Verify, collect,
and enter patient information into multiple software types. Facilitate communication between
healthcare providers, patients, and insurance providers. Present patients with cost estimates
and explanations of services provided.

LEADERSHIP

I am an outspoken member of the Student Life Committee and I often lead group
discussions. During our annual budget hearings, I suggested an initiative that returned five

thousand dollars to our budget. At Holy Cow Cupcakes I had the opportunity to manage a
small team who was responsible for customer satisfaction and occasional service recovery.
