SIGNIFICANCE
The knowledge of basic first aid is essential in our daily lives as it reduces the
mortality and morbidity rate among individuals in certain accidents or injuries.
Medically inclined or not, the skills in first aid must be known to all people especially
in the places where medical help is not immediately provided. Medical allied
professionals are expected to have at least basic skills and knowledge in the
provision of first aid as they are trained more relatively than non-medical groups do.
Hence, this study will seek for the comparison of the medical and non-medical
courses in providing the first aid.

HYPOTHESIS
There is no significant difference between the medical and non-medical in their
skills and knowledge in the provision of First Aid.
