Twenty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today Jesus teaches us what really matters are the intentions of our hearts. Bad
intentions lead to angry outbursts with name calling and put downs. These are
violent acts that defile our relationships. No one wins; everyone loses. Examine
your heart and open it to Gods love and grace.

Retrouvaille is a three-month program to help couples struggling in their marriages.

It has three phases, starting with a weekend experience in which couples learn to
re-establish communication and to gain new insight into themselves as individuals
and as a couple. Post sessions are held over a period of 12 weeks to further
develop and enhance the techniques learned on the weekend. A support group is
available offering interaction with other couples who are striving to improve their
relationship. Join us September 11-13, 2015 at Fairfield Inn & Suites, Beachwood,
OH. To register, email Cleveland@retrouvaille.org or call 800-470-2230 or 330-6653506. For more information go to www.helpourmarriage.com.

It is that time of year again! A new season of RCIA is about to begin and
in order to be hospitable and serve the Inquirers well, several things
are needed: Prayer Partners (make a commitment to pray in a regular
way for an Inquirer); many people to provide a simple snack for a
weekly session; something new to us parish sponsors. It is common

for inquirers to have difficulty finding an appropriate sponsor or to have

someone who can be present for Rites celebrated and/or to be a
companion on the journey. If our Lord is prompting you to respond to one
of these needs or to find out more, please call Karen (330-745-0011 x
18). Thank you.
The Culture of Life will meet on Tuesday, September 1 in the rectory following Mass
and Benediction. Much work and many prayers are needed for our country. You may
ask what can I do, I am only one person? Come and find out. Our Lord said if you
are lukewarm, He would spit you out!! He does not hold us responsible for our
successes, only our efforts. It has been said that if you are not part of the solution
then you are part of the problem, please come and see how our Lord intends to use
you to put an end to the many tragedies brought on from the Culture of Death. If
you took the time to read this you are being called to help usher in a new Culture of
Life. Remember October is Respect Life Month
Mark the following important dates on your calendars:
