Main Objective: By the end of the class, students will be able to create and describe a new invention in pairs, using the linking word because to express
the reasons of its creation.
Subsidiary aims:
To reinforce thematic vocabulary related to the Unit Technology and Inventions.
To reinforce the use of connectors of contrast.
Key Activities:
Link sentences using connectors.
Identify information from a video.
Create an invention in pairs.
Contents: Unit 2 of the English textbook Teens Club. This is the third class of the unit. The students are around 15 years old, they are in Ninth Grade.
They have English classes four hours a week.

Assumptions: Knowledge about the structures of present and past simple, knowledge about connectors of contrast. Students may have some difficulties
with the vocabulary, so a list of words will be given to them at the start of the class.
