KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

• Spearheaded the Sober Living Coalition in the inner city of south central Los Angeles
for nine years. Worked with agencies to transition inmates into society from jail and
prison, managing regulatory compliance for a program whereby each inmate
contracted from prison and placed in a home as well as participating landlords
received $1,500.
• Designed an IHSS/CNA registry database used by a union for a healthcare services
project. Administered the recruiting and hiring of eligible IHSS/CNA staff. Partnered
with community case managers from cross-functional senior centers and additional
agencies with referrals.
• Held responsibility for $40 million in commercial property contracts. Performed
document analysis and preparation of customer-required reports and forms related
to property acquisition, accountability, and final disposition. Implemented an
automated system for capturing data entered into a company system, which
substantially reduced labor hours while improving efficiency.
• Performed as the coordinator and liaison for an aerospace program in collaboration
with 250 schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District to encourage
students to remain in school.
• Established a mentoring program in the aerospace curriculum at Westchester High
School and served as a program liaison to recruit new members; collaborated with
local businesses to coordinate the Youth in Business Day initiative.
• Played a key role in fostering a partnership between the University of Los Angeles,
Loyola Marymount University, and Westchester High School to link the schools’
classrooms with satellite capabilities and facilitate after-school tutoring and college
preparation.
• Participated in the development of an outpatient process that reduced urine testing
issues by 40%. Instituted an outpatient process that improved the identification of
at-risk patients for psychotherapy group sessions by 20%. Designed outpatient
procedures to enhance the determination of at-risk patients involved in criminal
activities in Proposition 36 court-mandated programs and increased identification by
20%.
• Boosted the number of recruited veterans for job readiness placement by 20% by
conducting comprehensive eligibility assessments. Expanded recruiting procedures
to outside communities and agencies by 20% through educational programs in social
