WHAT IS BANKING?
According to Section 5(b) of the Banking Regulations
act, the term Banking means the accepting for the
purpose of lending or investment of deposits of
money from public, repayable, on demand or
otherwise , and withdraw able by cheque,draft
,order or otherwise.

FOR PAYMENT
By cheque
Check for valid signature.
Whether A/C no and NAME are correct or not.
Cheque must be not of future date.
If sufficient balance is assured with wriiten in
cheque.
By cash
A/C no & name are coincident or not.
A sleep which actually fill up by customer in correct
manner.
Total of amt is valid or not (i.e. both in words as well
as in figure).
FOR WITHDRAWL

Transfer
Figure of amt must be positive.
Both A/C nos must be valid.
Amt (IN OTHER WORDS A SUFFICIENT BALANCE)
must be there in Givers A/C.
By cash
Same as above A/C must be valid.
FOR FIXED DEPOSIT
By cheque
A valid cheque with amt balanced to particular.
By Cash
Cash must be concurrent at the time of deposited.
Transfer
It can be transfer at the date of maturity.
N.B. However the Indian Bank Association Code for Banking
Practices has stipulated that the maximum period for which a
deposit may be accepted by a Bank as 120 months.
