INTRODUCTION.

The present work is intended to lead to practice what they learned in Syllabus English, as is
Either - neither / so - too, Present progressive, How to disagree politely in English , Agreeing disagreeing, Adverbs of frequency, Modals verbs, Imperatives, Comparative adjectives using the
information in the work activities of each group participants.

Understanding and description of places or routines seeks temporary and daily aspects referring
to write short texts according to the workplace; writing simple sentences to make short
descriptions of events and activities so that you can build paragraphs attending temporal
sequences with coherence and cohesion based on a situation presented.

2. PERSONAL PRESENTATION.
2.1. AILEN MOLINA.

Good afternoon everyone my name is Ailen Molina Gomez, I am 31 years old, I live in
Riohacha la Guajira, and I am a psychologist actually I am working for an O N G here in my
city.

2.2. SANDRA YOLIMA IBARRA BECERRA.

I am Sandra Yolima Ibarra Becerra, I am 35 years old, I live in Pamplona, I

study environment Engineer, and I work in a laboratory.

2.3. SANDRA MILENA HURTADO.

My name is Sandra Milena Hurtado, I am 32 years old, I am from Colombia - Bogot, I

live in the locality Bosa, I study in UNAD college , in the program of industrial engineering, I
work at the company Manufacturas Delmyp S.A.S, as an analyst of production and I have a
reason to live, my beautiful daughter of 16 years.

2.4. ANA CRISTINA ACOSTA SOLARTE.

My name is Ana Cristina, and my surnames are Acosta Solarte, I am psychology student,
I was born in Pasto, which is called "surprise city of Colombia", I am 35 years old, I'm single and
now, I'm working in a construction company, actually I live in a township Satinga on the Pacific
coast for labor issues.

I work for a construction company where I work as manager for civil works which leads me to
travel to different parts of the country depending the place where the tender leaves, my job is not
easy as it requires a lot of responsibility but I strive to be a psychologist and devote myself to
this science to serve others with excellence and delivery.

3. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES AT WORK.

3.1. AILEN MOLINA.

I always start to work at 8: am and I finish at 5:00pm or sometimes at 6:00 pm, I help
people who have been victims of war in this part of the country, my job consists on help the
people in terms of their family, personal and the community problems, in this week I am working
so hard because I am attending many native (wayus) families that are having different problems.

I enjoy my job because is really nice and rewarding, I really like it, but sometimes it is
stressful and difficult too, so you have to work for long hours and sometimes you have to travel a
lot.
3.2. SANDRA YOLIMA IBARRA BECERRA

I start to take samples of water in different points of the city, almost I have to take 2
samples in the city and 4 samples in the final process of treatment and I do the physical,
chemical and microbiological analysis to each sample and fulfill the forms with the results.

3.3. SANDRA MILENA HURTADO.

I go to work by motorcycle, I start working at 6:00am. I am working in the company

manufacturas delmyp. I am earning a average salary. This year, I am working from analyst of
production . These are some of the activities I do in my job:

1. I am watch for the arrival of materials

2. I am controling and watching daily production
3. I always make the final report of the production each year end

I finish work at 5:00pm. After work, I return to my house, I do college works, dinner with the
family and finally then I go to sleep.

3.4. ANA CRISTINA ACOSTA SOLARTE.

My office is in Pasto, here we work through tenders being our work is done throughout
the country. I started working from October 2007, my role is to manage civil works, my duties
are personal management, suppliers, accounts, amounts and quality of building materials, I do
building logs and different records and documents too.

I work 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, nine hours from 7:30 am to 12:30 in the
mornings and in the afternoon from 2:00 to &:30 pm. I go to the place where the building is,
while it begins, six months after its opening, then I must visit it each month until to finish, then I
have to bring the work officially after twelve months or also said a year. You can see how my
work requires accountability, delivery and availability eager to serve an entire community.

4. ADVANTAGES OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN MY FUTURE.

4.1.

English is really important in every situation.

If you are a student of English, it helps you to get scholarships in other countries.
English is the key for the business world.
It helps you to optimize your job as a professional.
Nowadays English is the spoken language in many counties, and referring to me as a worker
it makes me be more competitive and help me to get more opportunities for getting a job.

4.2.

SANDRA YOLIMA IBARRA BECERRA.

English is an important language in my work because there are a lot information that I need
in English.
English is important because when I need to use an instructive for some instrument, the
information is in English.

SANDRA MILENA HURTADO.

In my job, learning English is useful to to make contracts with other companies. I think
everybody should learn English because it is the universal language and is very useful in
everyday life. If you learn English, you have chances to live in another country where this
language is used besides will have many advantages in work and in life.

4.4. ANA CRISTINA ACOSTA

Learning a new language opens many doors, first enriches my knowledge and allows me
to communicate exactly without any discrimination to the rest of the world.

English is the universal language, worldwide is spoken converting it as an important

language from every profession and employment, serve with excellence is one of my daily goals
and interact with the language take me to serve and find communities worldwide. The handle
exactly this language is a challenge in my life.

CONCLUSIONS.
The level of English I provide an opportunity to start the infinite knowledge of a new
language, with the possibility of advancing the knowledge of certain grammatical structures,
their pronunciation and writing.
In current times is very important to learn English to get in the era of globalization is a strong
and overwhelming fact, so it is our duty to prepare to conduct ourselves. We have seen
throughout this research as the quality and quantity of information is in English; And in a
world where the domain is exercised through good information management, it is essential to
acquire management tool second language to include us in this changing world.
With this writing has enriched the knowledge of all students trying as indispensable as is the
work on job performance issues.
