Cientos de silos de almacenamiento nos permiten ofrecer diferentes

las necesidades de almacenamiento en las ltimas dcadas nos
ha llevado a adaptarnos a las necesidades de nuestros clientes.
Empezando por los silos pequeos con tolva, pasando por los silos
de fondo plano con cono insertado y llegando a los silos de cono
invertido. A da de hoy contamos con silos multicmaras, consiguiendo

adaptarnos a las necesidades actuales de almacenamiento superiores

a rangos de 30.000 tn de material.
Nuestra experiencia nos permite abarcar todos el proceso; desde el
diseo del silo para el material a ensilar, hasta el equipamiento de las
diferentes partes del silo: entradas de material al silo, fluidificacin del
fondo, extraccin y desempolvado de toda la instalacin. Permitiendo
as ofrecer un sistema completo a nuestros clientes.

Hundreds of storage silos allow KEMEX to offer different solutions for
storing solids. Increasing storage needs in recent decades have led us
to adapt to our clients needs. Beginning with small silos with hoppers,
then flat-bottom silos with an inserted cone, followed by inverted
cone silosand today, multiple chamber silos, adapting ourselves to
the current needs for storage in ranges greater than 30,000 tons of
materials .

Our experience allows us to start with the best silo design for the
material to be silaged, continuing on to the equipment for the different
parts of the silo, the intakes for loading the material into the silo, the
fluidization of the bottom, the extraction and dedusting of the entire
installationenabling us to offer the complete system to our clients.

Analizando el producto a almacenar y en base a nuestra base
de datos con las experiencias acumuladas, ofrecemos el diseo
ideal para cada tipo de material y conseguimos el mximo
llenado y vaciado eficiente de los silos de almacenamiento.

Analyzing the product to be stored and using our data base of

accumulated experience allows us to offer the ideal design for
each type of material and to obtain the maximum efficient filling
and emptying of the storage silos.

El diseo comienza en la carga del material en el silo, que se

puede producir por varias vas. O bien por un transporte neumtico,
elevndolo mediante elevadores de cangilones y distribuyndolo
mediante aerodeslizadores o mediante cintas transportadoras.
La fluidificacin es la parte ms importante para el vaciado completo
del silo, porque se necesita el diseo adecuado para que no se
produzcan zonas muertas de material, adems de conseguir un ahorro
de consumo realizando la aireacin de los fondos por sectores.

{The design begins with loading the material into the silo, which can
take place in several ways: pneumatic conveying, elevation via bucket
elevators with distribution via air chutes, or via conveyor belts.
Fluidizing is the most important part of completing emptying of the silo
because it requires the right design so that there are no dead zones of
material, in addition to obtaining savings on energy consumption by
aerating the bottoms by sector.

Otra tecnologa utilizada es ayudarnos de la gravedad o la vibracin

para vaciar los silos en materiales no fluidificados o gruesos.
La extraccin permite bifurcar el material a un transporte neumtico o
prepararlo para el despacho mediante sistemas de carga o envasado.
Para conseguir un sistema cerrado y libre de contaminacin medio
ambiental es importante el buen desempolvado de todo el sistema de
silo. En KEMEX ofrecemos un sistema completo para cada tipo de
almacenamiento, contando con equipos propios proporcionando
as una garanta total a nuestros clientes.

Another technology employed is to use gravity or vibration to empty

the silos with non-fluidized or thick materials.
Extraction allows diverting the material off to a pneumatic conveying or
preparing for dispatch via loading or packaging systems.
A thorough dedusting of the entire silo system is important in order to
attain a closed system that is free of environmental pollution.

CMO DESCARGAMOS // HOW WE UNLOAD

Nos basamos en dos principios: la fluidificacin y la gravedad.

We rely on two principles: fluidization and gravity.

En materiales finos y fluidificables como el cemento, crudo de cemento,

cenizas volantes, carbn escayola, yeso, cal hidratada, carbonato
clcico, resina de PVC) el mejor sistema es la utilizacin de la
aireacin en los fondos de los silos para permitir que el material se
esponje y fluya hacia las salidas.
Para ello disponemos de diferentes sistemas de fondos:

In fine, flowable materials such as cement, cement raw materials, fly

ash, coal, plaster, slaked lime, calcium carbonate, PVC resin, etc., the
best system entails the use of aeration in silo bottoms which will allow
them to swell and flow towards the outlets.
To do this, we have different systems of silo bottoms:

SILO CFC // CFC SILO

Sistema de tolva cnica utilizado en silos pequeos que termina

en un cono que se fluidifica y una salida inferior.

A conical hopper system used in small silos that end in a cone

which becomes fluidized with a bottom outlet.

Sistema de diseo basado en una tolva cnica en la cual se colocan

unidades de aireacin concntricas a la tolva. Se airea mediante un
colector colocado alrededor de las unidades que es alimentado por una
soplante.

A system with a design based on a conical hopper in which aeration

units are placed concentric to the hopper. It is aerated via a manifold
positioned around the units that is fed by a blower.

Utilizado para silos de pequea capacidad, mximo hasta 10 metros

de dimetro. En la salida se coloca una caja aireada fluidificada y
posteriormente una compuerta de sector para regular la salida de
material.

It is used for small capacity silos up to 10 meters in diameter. An

aerated fluidized box is placed at the outlet, followed by a sector gate
to regulate the output of material.

SILO CFP // CFP SILO

Sistema de fondo plano con un cono interior y cmara de

expansin que permite el mejor aprovechamiento de todo el silo,
normalmente con una o dos salidas inferiores.

A flat-bottom system with an inner cone and expansion chamber

that enables the best possible utilization of the entire silo,
usually with two bottom outlets.

Para silos de entre 10 y 30 metros de dimetro, se basa en un fondo

plano totalmente aireado con una nica salida central. Para evitar la
aparicin de zonas muertas en los laterales del silo se coloca un cono
interior, que funciona como cmara de expansin, que permite una
total salida del material.
Es un silo cuyo diseo permite el mximo aprovechamiento de
almacenaje del silo.

Suitable for between silos of 10-30 meters in diameter, this system

is based on a completely aerated flat bottom with a single central
outlet. To prevent dead zones at the sides of the silo, an inner cone is
installed; this functions as an expansion chamber allowing all material
to exit.
The design of this silo allows the maximum use of the silos storage.

SILO CFI // CFI SILO

Sistema de cono invertido con diferentes extracciones que

termina en tolva de recogida, permite la mxima eficiencia de
uso de aire de fluidificacin.

An inverted cone system with different extractions that end in

a collection hopper, allowing maximum efficiency in the use of
fluidizing air.

Para silos de 10 a 30 metros de dimetro, basado en un cono invertido

interior, con un canal en el extremo aireado y extracciones laterales en
funcin del dimetro que permite la salida del producto hacia una tolva
central. Es un sistema que permite una mxima eficiencia en el uso del
aire de fluidificacin.

For silos 10 to 30 meters in diameter, this system is based on an inner

inverted cone with a channel in the aerated end and lateral extractions
that are determined the diameter, allowing the product to exit to a
central hopper. This system allows for maximum efficiency in the use of
fluidizing air.

SILO CFIM // CFIM SILO

Sistema de almacenamiento multicmara con cono invertido que

permite el almacenamiento de diferentes productos o calidades
en un mismo silo.

A multi-chamber storage system with an inverted cone that

allows the storage of different products or grades in the same
silo.

Para silos de dimetro superior a 15 metros con mltiples cmaras de

ensilado, permitiendo almacenar diferentes productos o calidades del
mismo. Se disean con cono interior y diferentes cmaras concntricas,
que permiten una extraccin total de los productos.
Ideal para almacenar diferentes productos en un mismo silo si hay
problemas de terreno.

For silos of diameters exceeding 15 meters with multiple silage

chambers, allowing the storage of different products or of grades of
the same product. They are designed with an inner cone and different
concentric chambers that allow the products to be completely removed.
It is ideal for storing different products in the same silo, if there are land
problems.

En materiales granulados y no fluidificables como clinker, piedra

caliza, arenas, cal viva, utilizamos la gravedad o vibracin
para permitir la evacuacin completa y limpia del material,
disponiendo de las siguientes tecnologas:

For non-flowable and granular materials such as clinker,

limestone, sand, quicklime, we use gravity or vibration to
allow a full, clean evacuation of the material, via the following
technologies:

Sistema de tolva cnica donde el material por gravedad cae a

una salida inferior.

A conical hopper system in which the material falls by gravity to

a bottom outlet.

Utilizado para el almacenaje de productos granulados y no

fluidificables que utiliza la gravedad del producto para su extraccin.
Los silos terminan en una tolva cnica y la salida cuenta con una
compuerta de celada.

This silo is used for storing non-flowable granular products that use
the products gravity to extract it. The silos end in a conical hopper and
output is through a clamshell gate.

SILO GCP // GCP SILO

Sistema de fondo plano con mltiples tolvas pequeas que

permite evacuar mediante gravedad en silos de gran tamao.

A flat-bottom system with multiple small hoppers that allows

evacuation by gravity in large silos.

Utilizado para productos finos y no fluidificables, con tendencia a

abovedarse, es un sistema basado en mltiples tolvines colocados
a lo largo de la base del silo, permitiendo una extraccin en toda la
superficie del silo.
Utilizado principalmente para productos como carbonato clcico.

Used for non-flowable fine products with a tendency to arching, this

is a system based on multiple hoppers placed along the silos base,
allowing extraction from its entire surface area.
It is used for products such as calcium carbonate.

SILO GCB // GCB SILO

Sistema con fondo vibrante con tolva cnica que se coloca en

la salida inferior ayudando a la evacuacin de los materiales no
fluidificables mediante vibracin.

A system with a vibrating floor and a conical hopper placed

at the bottom outlet to help the evacuation of non-flowable
materials by vibration.

Para productos no fluidificables, se disea la extraccin del silo

mediante un fondo vibrante, que utiliza la vibracin del mismo para
ayudar a la extraccin del material.
