PHILOSOPHY OF THE PROGRAMME:

i.

The programme design will try to encourage holistic development of the child i.e.
provide young people with creative opportunities for social, physical, cognitive and
affective learning (i.e. the capacity to think, feel, act and make meaning).

ii.

Lesson plans will encourage process over product i.e. providing children with the luxury
of time and space to experiment and immerse themselves in the particular art form.

iii.

The programming will encourage experiential learning i.e. exploratory fieldtrips to

natural and community spaces in the neighbourhood and meaningful engagement with
local environment and local community.
