CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

Scripture: “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so
that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” (Mark 11: 25)

Weekly Theme: “English Ministry”

Pray that God would lead Elders Lee and Hsieh in pastoring the English congregation.
Pray that God would help us to learn “Fellow-Workers with God, United to Build.”
Pray that God would equip more of His people for a breakthrough and good discipline in prayer,
preaching, mission, serving, and teaching.
Pray for more blessings from God on all the services (children, college, young adult professional, English
adult group meeting on Saturday morning, and communication & evangelism).
Pray that God would raise more Sunday School teachers to supply more spiritual needs of brothers and
sisters.
Pray for the Mission organizations﹕World Impact Inc ; Missionaries﹕Kuang-Yuan Chiang, and
Seminary student﹕ Joy Huang; Also pray for the peace and safety of those brothers and sisters
who are on overseas short-term missions.

---English and Youth Ministry: Please pray for:

1. Tim and P Manny as they preach and chair this coming Sunday.
2. More volunteers to help with our puppet ministry.
3. Worship and music ministry to encourage more volunteers.
4. Youth council meeting next Tuesday.
5. FEAST to have an impact on the attendees.
6. Dating talk by Linda and Brian to high-school students.
--- Children Ministry:
1. Please pray for ages 2 & 3 children’s worship teacher: Jenny Wu; assistant: Mei Ng and ages 4 &
5 children’s worship teacher: Diana Yang; assistant: Joy Tan. Pray that the Lord give them strength
as they plant the seeds of children’s faith.
2. Please pray for all parents as they build good characters in their children, the Lord will give them
wisdom and patience.
--- People: Please pray for:
1. Dennis – Elfie’s friend’s brother hit by a truck in Sri Lanka.
2. Xris & Elfie – traveling to Seattle until Sunday nite.
3. Amy Yuey’s family situation: determine care for her dad (Alzheimer’s) and mom’s stroke;
praise God her mom accepted Christ last weekend, pray for someone in NY to follow up.
4. Baptismal candidates: 1 adult, 1 college, 3 youths.
5. Hutama: Sandi, Lili, Tim, Dan
6. Chiou: Jeff, Ketty, Max, Alex
--- Men’s Ministry: Please pray for:
1. Pray for the planning and coordination for this new ministry: first meeting on March 27; survey to
men in congregation to be passed out and finding a guest speaker for 1st meeting.
--- National: Please pray for:
1. Pray for after effects of the earthquake in Chile: for the survivors, for restoration, for hope.
2. Pray for our government leaders as they continue to work on health care issues.
3. JinHua church starts ground-breaking next Wed, but not enough funds for completed church.
