BIRTHDAY OF HOLY PROPHET (##) WHETHER 9™ OR 12" OF RABI-UL-AWAL? WRITTEN BY: ALLAMA MOULANA KASHIF IQBAL MADANI dba. RENDERED INTO ENGLISH MUHAMMAD SAQIB RAZA QADRI ATTARI ue oi (B.COM, CA ater), MA Ushamic St ACKNOWLEDGEMENT It is a common practice of Muslim Ummah to celebrate the birthday of their beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) with great passion and enthusiasm in different ways and protocol. There was no conflict regarding its celebration but till the Wahabi and Deobandi sect takes birth, they started to create doubts in the mind of muslims in different aspects. One of their rumors is that the birthday of Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) is 9h of Rabi-ul-Awal and not 12" In this brief article, the captioned topic is elaborated comprehensively and doctrines of renowned muslim scholars are furnished in support. Further, views of famous scholars of Wahabi and Deobandi sects are also taken that are self explanatory and support our claim. All discussion is supported by full reference The article is derived from a book named “Tareekh-e-Eid Melad-un-Nabi #Ze"Written by Allama Kashif Iqbal Madni. This is not a complete translation of his book rather certain amendments that I think appropriate while translating are being made. However, all credit of this article goes to Allama Kashif Iqbal Madni. May Allah accepts his efforts and gives him more energy to do more research work for the benefit of all Muslim Ummah. It is humbly requested to all readers to pray for me to remain consistent on Shariah and in following Sunnah of Holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) and to do more translation work in future. (ctu!
