Situation:
The students have lost something but they aren't sure where. They must go to
various Lost and Found Department until they find what they lost.
Procedures:
(1) Each student must give the teacher something of his/hers (i.e. book, pencil,
pen, notebook, etc.)
(2) Divide the class as follows: 1/4 are workers in Lost and Found Departments,
3/4 have lost something.
(3) Scatter the Lost and Found Departments throughout the room and give each
one part of the objects collected at the beginning of the activity.
(4) Students go to the various Lost and Found Departments looking for the lost
items (S: Excuse me. I lost my ______. L&F: Is this your _______? S: Yes
that's my ______./No, that isn't my ______.)
(5) When all students have recovered their items, have some students be in Lost
and Found Department so that the original L&F students can recover their
items.

Give each student a copy of the Cloze practice which is based on the Listening
comprehension dialog. Have students fill in the blanks and compare with a
partner. Correct.
