Here in Liverpool we are extremely well connected with
comprehensive transport links allowing travellers to get
wherever they need to go quickly and efficiently by
road, rail, sea and air.
The city is situated on an extensive motorway network
which provides convenient access to the wider North
West Region, the Lake District, North Wales and the
rest of the country.
Liverpool is served by the West Coast Main Line
running trains from London into the heart of the city at
Lime Street Station. The journey time from Liverpool to
London is just over two hours.
We also enjoy the international connectivity provided
by our own Liverpool John Lennon Airport and nearby
Manchester Airport which link travellers to hundreds of
destinations across Europe and worldwide.
As befits a waterfront city, Liverpool is also the point
of embarkation for regular ferry journeys to both the
Republic and Northern Ireland, as well as a docking
point for cruise liners.
