The selected position (not the actual position) of the various bleed air control valves is
indicated on the related switch/light. With the exception of the X-BLEED and APU
BLEED switch/lights, all indications are in the form of a bar symbolising an open valve
and an OFF caption for a closed valve. The X-BLEED switch/light has a horizontal bar
to symbolise when the valve is open and a vertical bar for a closed valve. The APU
BLEED switch/light has an ON and an AVAIL caption. The ON caption indicates that
the switch/light is pressed in (APU bleed air selected on). The AVAIL caption is
controlled by the APU available relay 125HB and indicates that APU bleed air is
available. It does not indicate that the APU is delivering bleed air. The ECS panel is
equipped with an EXT light indicating that the APU Access door is open when
illuminated and Ground air power source is attached.
