SUMMIT2015
Fresh Ideas! New Opportunities!

OCTOBER 18-19, 2015, PRAGATI MAIDAN, NEW DELHI

LIMITLESS
OPPORTUNITIES

FOR THE NEXT GEN

IN FRANCHISING

We are in an entrepreneurial economy. India's 25 + youth is the

embodiment of the Startup World, more fearless than ever
before in its earlier generation, but also with a natural in-built
sense to take calculated risks.
NEW TIMES. NEW INDUSTRIES
The business landscape is changing very fast. India had just
joined the ranks of the modern business world when ecommerce came and disrupted the business models in India.
Contrary to the popular view, I feel digital retail has brought
more transparency into the existing business structures and on
the other hand, opened up new opportunities and industries to
happen. The digital world's challenges contain hidden
opportunities, which have led newer industries to take shape.
Notable would be e-franchising; hyper-local trade which are still
sinking in but would be the hottest franchise opportunities in
the coming years. The current franchise landscape is competitive
but integration and collaboration of traditional businesses with
new ideas can add value to thousands of undiscovered business
propositions. This calls for brands to innovate and drive their
brands to previously unchartered territories.

The world of franchising offers so many opportunities. If you

were to really understand how consumer brands and franchise
companies structure their businesses, you will discover countless
employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.

India had been so hyped by modern retail in the last decade

that some golden franchise industries much popular in the West
did not get there due regard in India so far. Today, both malls
and tech businesses are being created around them, but we
need more organised brands and franchisees to enable these
service businesses. The f&b industry, wellness & fitness sector
industry will be the next sunshine brick and mortar industries of
India with a growth that would canvass to 300% or more in the
next two years.

Being knowledgeable and on top of things is what would keep

businesses on top of the game in 2015 and beyond. The Start-up
Summit at Franchise India 2015 has always been the forerunner
in predicting business trends and showcasing business ideas way
ahead of its times and in some cases have been known for
creating new markets and industries to come up. In its 13th year,
the conference will once again live up to its reputation as the
expo will once again bring old and new communities to discover
the business road ahead.
