Reading Traffic Report by Hours(All Trunks)

TeleSynergy Research Inc.

Subject

Description

Time Interval

The time interval for the report is one-hour based.

All the statistic numbers are accumulated and
calculated by this base.
For each time interval, the total number of calls =
the number of incoming calls + the number of
outgoing calls. When calculated, the time unit must
be converted into second, rather than hour or
minute.
For each time interval, the total duration of calls =
the duration of incoming calls + the duration of
outgoing calls. When calculated, the time unit must
be converted into second, rather than hour or
minute.
For each time interval, the total average duration of
calls = (the duration of incoming calls + the
duration of outgoing calls) / (the number of
incoming calls + the number of outgoing calls).
When calculated, the time unit must be converted
into second, rather than hour or minute.
For each time interval, the total utilization = [(the
duration of incoming calls + the duration of
outgoing calls) / (1 * 60 * 60 * the number of trunk
lines)] * 100%. When calculated, the time unit must
be converted into second, rather than hour or
minute.
For each time interval, the incoming call average
duration is calculated as (Duration / the number of
incoming calls).
For each time interval, the outgoing call average
duration is calculated as (Duration / the number of
outgoing calls).

1.3.3.

Reading Traffic Report by DID

More and more companies are using different DID numbers to analyze the
incoming call traffic for different function group, say tech. support team,
accounting, sales promotionetc. All the DID numbers share the same trunk
resources, thus a single trunk has more than 1 DID number assigned to it.
Different from the trunk traffic report, DID traffic report will exactly base on the
incoming DID number disregard of the physical trunk lines. So trunk 1 may

have 10 incoming calls for DID number 1, 12 calls for DID number 2, 8 calls
for DID numebr 3.... , TelePCX SMDR will collect the DID info and pass it to
the SMDR program for running the DID usage report.
