Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep dan Sikap Ilmiah

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, subjek penelitian sebanyak 25
siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan tehnik pengambilan
data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian berhasil
meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa yang ditandai oleh hasil belajar siswa yaitu
DSK pada siklus I adalah 75,96% dibandingkan 69,6% sebelum pembelajaran dan
meningkat menjadi 90,84% pada siklus II. KBK pada siklus I adalah 76% dibandingkan
56% sebelum pembelajaran dan meningkat 96% pada siklus II. Sikap ilmiah siswa dapat
ditingkatkan dengan bukti bahwa pada siklus I, jumlah siswa yang berkriteria baik
adalah lebih banyak dibanding dengan kriteria cukup dan kurang namun pada siklus II,
tidak ada lagi siswa yang berkriteria kurang dan cukup tetapi seluruh siswa tersebar pada
kriterian baik dan meningkat menjadi sangat baik paada siklus II. Kesimpulan yaitu
pemanfaatan multimedia sebagai media pembelajaran untuk materi sistem pencernaan
makanan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan sikap ilmiah siswa di kelas XI
SMA Negeri 1 Pamona Barat.

Student in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pamona Barat

ABSTRACT
This research is a classroom action research with 25 students as the subject of
research. The method and the data collection technique used are a descriptive method
and a combination of the achievement test and the observation sheet. Based on the
result of research, there is an increasing of the understanding concept of students which
marked by score of the learning outcomes in the first cycle. The percentage of DSK is
high (75.96%) compared to 69.6% (before action), and become higher (90.84%) in the
second cycle. The percentage of KBK is rising with 76% in the first cycle compared to
56% (prior to action) and become higher 90.84% in the second cycle. The scientific
attitude of students is rising with proof that in the first cycle the number of student who
has a good criterion is more compared to student who has the fewer and less criterions.
In the second cycle, no more students has fewer criterion, all of them are in an
excellent criterion. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of multimedia on
learning process for the digestive system topic can improve the understanding concepts
and the scientific attitudes of students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pamona Barat.
