date)
Virtusas engagement with Pegasystems is to deploy Pegasystems' Smart Claims Engine (SCE)
that will empower Cigna with the speed and flexibility of configurable claims adjudication,
enabling transformative service levels and capabilities as Cigna services its clients, customers
and health care professionals.
Cigna, working with Pegasystems and Virtusa, will describe top-level business goals, objectives,
and requirements, will define functional requirements, will elaborate functional specifications,
will configure and conform the SCE to Cigna's business purposes, will test and accept the
delivered SCE and will deploy SCE in a Production context.
Duties and responsibilities. - Client facing
Implementing one of the major functionality get initial and final rates of
quoting process
Worked with data transforms, XML stream rules, HTTP connectors to
retrieve data from Java Rates Engine

Architect (Pega PRPC 6.2, CPM) (07/2012- 02/2014)
AIG is the worlds largest insurance organization, with more than 88 million customers serving
more than 130 countries around the world. AIG is a provider of property casualty insurance, life
insurance and retirement services, and mortgage insurance.
OneClaim is the AIGs complete solution for claims intake, adjudication and financial
management on a global basis. OneClaim offers a consolidated global approach to claims-entry,
with an aim to improve performance around the speed and cost at which claims are processed
to maximize the customer experience and improve overall service offered to our clients.
OneClaim will be rolled out to cover all lines of business and all AIG operational units around
the globe.
Duties and responsibilities. - Client facing
Implemented one of the major flows in US specialty line of business which involved
triggering XML, changing policy details, updating coverages, creation of follow up tasks,
claims reassign etc.
Worked on implementing the global framework which comes on top of all the regions
such as Europe, North America, Asia pacific.
Worked in the production support team to address major production issues.
Created Properties, HTML Properties, Model Rules, Correspondence Template Rules.
Worked with reports including list views, summery views and obj-listview methods

The New York Life Insurance Company (NYLIC) is one of the largest mutual life-insurance
company companies in the United States, and one of the largest life insurance company
insurers in the world. New York Life Long Term Care Insurance (LTCi) is a division of New York
Life as the name implies. NYL LTC is responsible for policy generation, policy administration,
distributor compensation, and claims administration. As part of policy administration, NYL LTC
is responsible for maintaining all policies and servicing all policy requests made on behalf of
their policyholders.
Virtusa is to build a BPM initiative from Pega PRPC 6.2 which will enable NYLLTCi to be a more
efficient and flexible organization that will automate its current manual system as well and
capitalize on market forces in the long-term care insurance marketplace

coverage in the state. Providing quality, affordable health plans; employee benefit services;
and worksite wellness programs, HMSA also offers a variety of programs, services and support
to help improve the health and well-being of their members and community.
HMSA has employed Virtusa to develop and deliver 2 important modules for their Business
operations, AMS and CR. The AMS module will be used by Account Management and Sales
representatives who are responsible for determining the eligibility, communicating plans and
offerings, and following-up with and closing the prospects. The CR Module will be used by
Members and Providers of the HMSA contact Customer Service Representatives for different
