Title: Design of Mechanical Contraptions to meet following objectives.
Objectives: Camera mounting for surface inspection of sample shear; Accurate determination of dimensions of a thin rolled sheet
metal; Thickness Deviation measurement of sample bar.
Impact: Designed cost effective and robust contraption systems which increase workers efficiency and safety by reducing
unnecessary body motion elements and work elements.
Real time simulation of the contraptions and cost analysis were done using SolidWorks thus leading to successful implementation
of the project in the department within 3 months.
Increased throughput of the system by 5% .
Received a cash award of worth Rs10000/- after successful implementation of the project.

Title: In-Plant Road Fatality Assessment of TATA STEEL using System Theoretic Accident Modelling Process (STAMP).
Objective: A comprehensive study on In-plant road safety using road fatality data from 2005 to 2012
Impact: Successfully presented the project to chief safety and chief road safety of TATA STEEL. Considered for Implementation of
safety recommendations generated using STAMP model analysis
Safety Analytics carried out on all the accident cases to generate recommendations
Identification of high risk zone areas , key areas in the safety structure where improvements are required were identified
