The Corporate Readiness


Training Program (CRTP)
works with professionals in a
wide range of occupations,
including office administration,
accounting, bookkeeping,
sales and marketing, as well as
all disciplines within the field
of engineering.
CRTP can help you
The goal of CRTP is to assist skilled
immigrants to learn to find and succeed at a
professional job in the Canadian workplace.
The 16-week program consists of:
10 weeks of intensive employment
related training for skilled immigrants
6 weeks of professional work experience
that can lead to a Canadian reference

Eligibility Requirements
Minimum Canadian Language
Benchmark (CLB) of 6
Permanent Residency Card/Canadian
Citizenship Card
Completed post-secondary training from
the country of origin and the desire to
enter that occupational field in Canada
Ready, willing, and able to go to work
in Canada in the targeted field

First Wednesday of every month


3:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m.

CRTP has three regular intakes per


year that coincide with the Bow Valley
College trimester system. Every year,
there is a course offering in Fall, Winter,
and Spring. For exact start dates, please
consult the Bow Valley College website

Applicants for this program can


apply for Alberta Works funding.
Funding advisors are available to
help determine eligibility.
Please allow 2-3 months for
processing of your application and
funding assessment.
