recanmendations of the Three Man C m m i ttee headed by J u s t i c e P. Jaganmohan
R d d y . The main object of t h e C m m i s s i o n
was
to s t r e a m l i n e the procedure of
selection of t a l e n t e d teaching s t a f f of
Government Degree and J u n i o r C o l l e g e s a s
well
as Private Degree and Junior
Colleges in, the State. Subsequently t h e
C m m i s s i o n w a s d i v e s t e d with the select i o n of
t e a c h i n g - s t a f f of
private
colleges but e n t r u s t e d the work of
selection to the posts of teachers
f a c u l t y positions i n Government Polyt e c h n i c Colleges in the State.

havo entrusted t h e r e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s of
conducting t h e N a t i o n a l Eligibility Test
for awarding lecturership and University
G r a n t s C o m m i s s i o n Scales. This t e s t ,
under t h e name of State L e v e l Eligibility
Test, is now b e i n g h e l d t w i c e a y e a r a s
per the norms prescribed by University

and s t a f f of t h e C m m i s s i o n .

This Bill s e e k s to g i v e e f f e c t to the
