Read Jasons diary entry.

Saturday, 2nd December

Dear Diary

I am having great fun in Tokyo and my pen friend Nobuo is being very kind to me and my
family. I really like Japan and I particularly love Tokyo. It is the most fantastic city in the
world. I want to live here when I grow up.
At the moment, I am sitting in a cafe. I am waiting for Nobuo. Luckily, there are lots of
things to watch so I dont feel bored. Outside the cafe, I can see Mickey Mouse and
Donald Duck. They are walking about and lots of people are taking photos of them. I can
also see other Disney characters by the mechanical rides.

This morning, Nobuos parents took us to a restaurant for breakfast. We had rice, grilled
salmon, egg, vegetables and miso soup (a special kind of Japanese soup). It was delicious. I
was particularly keen on the miso soup because its taste was really unusual. Mrs Sato
taught me some Japanese. She taught me to say itadakimasu . It means Enjoy your meal.
Tomorrow we are going to take a train to a famous theme park called Fujikyu Highlands.
The park is about a 100 km away from Tokyo. There are lots of rides at the park. I am
looking forward to going on the Dodonpa. Its the fastest roller coaster in the world. It goes
at 172 km / h. Wow! I hope we wont feel sick afterwards!
