Overall Objective:
Chilworth Technology (Pvt.) Limited is one of the Chilworth Group of
Companies providing services in the environment, process safety and related
areas to companies around the world. Chilworth has world-class expertise in
areas that include explosion prevention, chemical reaction hazards (runaway
reactions), dust explosions, static electricity, Process Safety and Risk
Management, hazardous area classification and others. Chilworth Groups
main

clients

are

usually

world-class

companies

in

the

fields

of

pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, fine chemicals, bulk chemicals, and other
chemical food processing areas.
Position: Consulting Engineer to GM Level
Salary Range- Negotiable.
Qualification:
BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (Preferably Chemical)

Engineer/AM/DM/Manager/Sr.Manager/AGM/DGM/Director
Location: Delhi
Team Handling 0 to 10

Primary Objectives:
To effectively manage and provide technical direction to the Process safety
team or teams, in order to assure adequate team performance within
stated budget and schedule constraints.
To discuss and resolve technical, commercial and financial issue with the
Director/ Relevant Team Lead.

To be responsible for the performance of projects assigned, both in terms


of technical capability and also commercial performance of the project in
concurrence with utmost level of Client Satisfaction.
To delegate project assignments to project teams appropriately and mentor
junior staff. Build strong collaborative relationships with other Chilworth
employees.
To promote Chilworth services to clients, to achieve follow-on work with
existing clients and new work with prospective clients.
To prepare and review Technical & Commercial proposals/ tenders, and
participate in Business Development. Maintain updated status for the
same.
To effectively manage QMS implementation for the location.
To keep up to date information of projects and inform it to Director &
Finance Controller.
To manage the location as per company policy & procedures and ensure
effective implementation of the same

Specific Accountabilities:
To identify the scope of work and estimate norms to conduct the same.
To lead and facilitate HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, Bow Tie and other PHA/ PSM
Workshops
To lead and effectively conduct:

Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA);


Flare and Vent Studies
Hazardous Area Classification
Active & Passive Fire Protection Design
Emergency Relief Design; etc.

To determine the MAH events and to apply formalized approach of hazard


management; in order to identify & provide means of mitigation and
reduction of such hazards including development to Formal Safety
Assessments (FERA, EERA, ESSA, NPHA, etc.).
To take ownership of and provide direction to engineers through ability to
prepare and author full suite of project deliverables.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor/ Master Degree of engineering in related fields.
Knowledge of soft wares (such as PHAST, PHAST Risk, HAZOP Manager,
PHA Pro and other relevant soft wares)
