This week we are learning:


Circle Time Review
This week we will review our last
topic which is Thai foods. We will
also continue reviewing preposition of
place, family, rainforest animals, sea
animals,
town
and
country,
occupation, transportation, animals
and their young and also their sound,
fruits, vegetables, daily routine,
classroom objects, colours, shapes,
feelings and introduction. This will
help students remember what was
taught in the previous week.

Phonics
Review
We will review the complete set of
the alphabet sound (aaa, bbb, ccc,
ddd, eee, fff, ggg, hhh, iii, jjj, kkk, lll,
mmm, nnn, ooo, ppp, rrr, sss,ttt,
uuu, vvv, www, xxx, yyy, zzz) using
the Jolly Phonics song phase two.
We will also review the an, ap
at, am ad ag and en word

Western Foods

Activity Time
Vocabulary: salad, sandwich, pizza, spaghetti, hamburger, cereal, mashed
potato, steak, hotdog, bread, fried chicken, french fries, salty, sour, sweet and
spicy.
Sentence structure(s):
Question: What is your favorite food?
Answer: _______________.
Question: What did you eat for breakfast?
Answer: ________________.
Songs: Do you like spaghetti yogurt? Do you like broccoli ice cream? and
one potato, two potatoes song.
Activities:
This week we will make tuna sandwich and we will also have food maze, word
search for our worksheet.
Games:
Snowball Fight: Give each student a piece of recycled paper with the picture
of food. Then, split the class into two teams and have them stand facing
each other at opposite sides of the classroom. Tell the students to crumple
up their paper into a snowball. When you say go, the snowball fight
commences. When you shout stop, anyone who is holding a snowball must
say I like ________, yummy! Or I dont like ______, yucky!
Pass the Ball: Have all students to sit in a circle. Use a ball and toss it to one
student. But you must say one food word as you pass. The student then
throws to another student and says different food. If the student you threw it
to drop it, he/she is out. And the game keeps going until you have one
winner.

This week the students will learn the et word family. (jet, vet, wet, net, let, met,
get)
