Course Objectives:
To develop the students understanding of Plane Elasticity Theory
To develop the student understands of Theory of Photoelasticity, Coating Methods,
Statistics
To develop students skills in Strain Measurement Methods and Measuring Instruments
Course Outcomes:
Student will apply this knowledge and proper use of the basic aspects of experimental
stress analysis that includes exhaustive treatment of the most versatile techniques like
photoelasticity and strain gauges.
In addition Student will able to apply the fundamental aspects of different experimental
