Dear Hon. Judge Maglaya,
In response to your summons for summary procedure under the above-mentioned Case
178732-CV, for Unlawful Detainer with Damages filed by Plaintiff E.S. BALTAO & CO. Inc.,
against the Defendant PILLARS OF FAITH, represented by the undersigned EDUARDO O.
FLORESTA, do hereby not refusing nor ignoring to pay the monthly rental proving that period
from April 15, 2004 to August 14, 2004 has been paid is hereto attached as Exhibit A;
However, in regards to attached complaint dated March 18, 2004 as Annex E we have
agreed by its Administrator, MA. PHOEBE DAAG sometime last March 2004, to reconcile the
said unpaid rental, amounting to P226,737 so we can come to an agreement how to settle the said
unpaid rental amount. Unfortunately, before the date of our meeting comes, Ive learned that
MA. PHOEBE DAAG suffered from mild stroke that cause to prevent us to reconcile, even up to
this date she is still under recovery process of her ailment.
With respect to the above-mentioned case or matter, however, may we respectfully
request the Honorable Judge to grant us reasonable period of time within which to reconcile and
settle the account of the Defendant with the Plaintiff as surely we would do it as soon as a
meeting of mind is met.
Ours is a religious institution which always adhere to what is true and fair and definitely
we do not see any issue with the good person of MA. POEBE DAAG as authorized administrator
and representative of the Plaintiff, E.S. BALTAO & CO., INC.

In writing your good office, may I request for a Direct Transfer of the land title of
the aforementioned property in my name and that I am willing to shoulder the
expenses and/or fees that may be incurred for this undertaking.
