MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS: COUNTER TOPS

Measuring kitchen counter tops for an estimate is simple. If you dont have a cabinet plan the most common layouts are shown below. Arrows reveal the dimensions needed for estimates. Note that some shapes
may have extended widths. If you have something other than the options shown below simply measure
overall length and width and describe the shape as oval, circle, bean shape, octagon etc.

MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS:
SHOWER WALLS
To measure for a shower or
bathtub area simply indicate
the dimensions shown by the
arrows. Then indicate if the
style is 2 walls, 3 walls (shown
right) or 4 walls (include a size
for the door way opening). If
you have something different
like an angled shower or polygon shape then simply indicate the dimensions of each
wall. You can also submit a
floor plan from your builder or
contractor.
