Moving the Software Key to another Computer

PTW allows you to move the software key from one computer to another. This is useful if you want to work
temporarily on a different computersay a laptop at homeand then return the software key to the office when
youre done.
The general procedure is straightforward: you load PTW on both computers, then move the software key back and
forth between the computers as you need it. Keep in mind, though, that you must follow these instructions exactly;
also, remember that the software key can only reside on one computer at a time, not both.
Warning: The software key can only exist in one place at one timeIT DOES NOT BEHAVE
AS WINDOWS FILES DO. This means you cannot make a copy of the software key using the
Windows Explorer; you can only move the software key using the instructions we have provided.
Failure to do so may destroy the software key.

IF THESE COMPUTERS ARE NOT CONNECTED BY A NETWORK, YOU NEED TO USE THE
INSTRUCTIONS WHICH FOLLOW; OTHERWISE, IF THE COMPUTERS ARE CONNECTED BY A
NETWORK, YOU SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON PAGE 13.
