C. Gap Analysis
Given the data that youve collected, what has your committee determined to be the gaps between what is needed (to support / achieve your school
improvement goals and your schools vision for technology) use and what you currently have? You can create a bulleted list. This is NOT to be a wish
list, but a realistic representation of what is needed to guide future purchases and investments. Each item should be supported by an explanation for the
need - one to two supporting points should suffice.

Purchase 256 chromebooks and 8 supporting cart

Increase access to technology / lower student-to-computer ratio
Facilitate school work collaboration among students and teachers
Students can demonstrate their learning through the creation of authentic artifacts
Afford each academic department to have at least 2 mobile labs
Support Milestones testing needs
Purchase the following: 26 Epson PowerLite 99WH LCD projector, Desktop Computer, 1 Hewlett Packard M601N B/W, 29 MimioTeach, 41
MimioVote, 33 MimioView, 30 MimioCapture, 14 MimioPad
Provide the bare minimum necessary to teach but will bring the classrooms at Apalachee closer to what a modern classroom should look like.
Improve attitudes of both the student as well the teacher in regards to teaching and learning.
Standardize the technology being used allowing teachers the ability to teach in any classroom they enter if they happened to get displaced from their
classroom for any length of time.
Save money by having not having to stock multiple consumables that may/may not be used.

Goals, Strategies and Benchmarks

Based on your schools vision, improvement goal, the data collected and the gap analysis, what goals are needed to move your school forward? These
goals will include items from your gap analysis, but should also include goals related to the USES of technology. Remember to make your goals SMART!

Duplicate the tables below for each goal. You should have at least ONE goal that addresses:

Goal #1:Create and implement a support system that is characterized by a positive service orientation, is proactive, and provides resources, coaching
and just-in-time instruction to prepare teachers and students for the use of new technologies. By leveraging technology and media resources, students
and teachers have options to learn any time of day, from home, school and/or community. Technology use will cease to be an event and will be
seamlessly integrated into all aspects of learning. Implement digital tools to support active, engaged learners focused on digital citizenship, collaborative
learning and the responsible use of digital technologies.
