Grady Cluster

Summary of February and May Meetings

Discussed enrollment issues at Inman and other factors

- Non-viability of original solution of adding eight classrooms

- Proposed Druid Hills annexation

APS administrators presented space recommendations, including an

Inman 14 classroom addition, an Inman 6th Grade campus and a
Howard Junior High as solutions.

Druid Hills annexation proposal did not pass the legislature.

In April 2015, the Board set new attendance boundaries (beginning
in 2017-2018 school year) for Centennial Place Academy for a
middle school.

APS administrators presented the creation of Howard Middle School,

Inman 9th Grade Academy and new APS athletic practice fields on
former Walden Middle School campus.

Proposed Solutions
Given community feedback and preferences, APS

administrators re-examined options for solutions.
