o Served as DFA Representative to various Inter-Agency Bodies including the
National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDRRMC), Philippine Climate Change
Commission (CCC), Office of the Presidential Assistant for Recovery and
Rehabilitation (OPARR), etc.
o Served as DFA Focal Point for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM),
Climate Change, International Humanitarian Law (IHL), etc.
o Served as Co-Chair, International Commitment Fund (ICF)
Headed DFA Typhoon Yolanda Action Center (TYAC) (November 2013-March 2014), and
coordinated international humanitarian assistance for Yolanda-affected areas.
Co-led / Joined Philippine Delegations to various UN / ASEAN Conferences including the
UN General Assembly (UNGA), UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC),
ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting / Summit, etc (2013-14)
Led Missions to the United Kingdom and Canada for strengthening Civilian-Military
Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) Cooperation (2014).
Coordinated DFA efforts for the evacuation of UN Disengagement Observer Force
(UNDOF) AFP Peacekeepers in the Golan Heights (August 2014).
Coordinated the Presidents participation in the 2014 UN Summit on Climate Change (New
York, September 2014).
Organized 2nd Global Conference on the Disaster Response Dialogue (DRD) in Manila
(2014).
Organized South-East Asian Regional Conferences in Manila on the Montreux Document
on Private Military and Security Companies (2013), the Nansen Initiative (2014), the Geneva
Declaration on Armed Violence & Development (2014).
Organized the 2013 Celebration of International Humanitarian Law Month.
Organized the Diplomatic League (Association of International Relations Students) and
Corps of Diplomatic Volunteers.
