NINE STEPS FOR PUTTING THE VIOLET FLAME

INTO ACTION

1. Set aside a time each day to give violet flame.

You can give violet-flame decrees anywhere, anytime--in your car, while doing ch
ores or before going to bed. In fact, simply repeating a violet-flame mantra any
time you feel tense, tired or irritated can make the difference. But you will ge
t the greatest benefit from the violet flame if you set aside at least fifteen m
inutes a day to decree without interruption.
It's best to decree in a place dedicated to spiritual work, such as a chapel or
a well-lit, clean and aired room. Poor lighting, dust, untidiness and stale air
impede the flow of spiritual energy.
On your altar you can put candles, crystals, flowers and photographs of saints,
Ascended Masters and your loved ones.
2. Begin your violet-flame session with a prayer.
Before you begin your decrees, give a prayer, or invocation, asking the Ascended
Masters, angels and elementals to come and help you.
The elementals are the nature spirits of fire, air, water and earth who are resp
onsible for taking care of our planet. Elementals who represent the fire element
are called salaman-ders; those who represent the air element, sylphs; those who
represent the water element, undines; those who represent the earth element, gn
omes. They are only too happy to help us clean up both our auras and the planet
with the violet flame.
3. Invoke protection before you start using the violet flame. Remember Barbara?
She began giving violet-flame decrees and soon her son saw everyone in the house
turn purple. Not too long after she began giving them, her son told her that he
could see clouds of darkness attempting to enter the house.
Barbara phoned her sister, who had been giving decrees for a number of years, an
d learned an important lesson: Never invoke the violet flame without first calli
ng for protection. The Masters teach that when you bring forth more light, darkn
ess is drawn to it, as if by a magnet.
So you need to seal your aura with the white and blue protective energy. One of
the best ways to do this is to invoke the tube of light and the protection of Ar
changel Michael.
Give your tube of light decree each morning and repeat it as necessary throughou
t the day. As you give it, visualize the dazzling white light from your I AM Pre
sence, the Presence of God above you, forming an impenetrable wall of light arou
nd you.
Your prayer to Archangel Michael can be as simple as "Archangel Michael, Help me
! help me! help me!" As the Archangel of the first ray, Archangel Michael embodi
es the qualities of faith, protection, perfection and the will of God. Archangel
Michael has personally saved my life a dozen times that I know of and probably
thousands of times that I am not aware of.
So give your decrees with joy and gusto and know that when you call to Archangel
Michael and his legions of angels, they will immediately be at your side. (See

4. Begin your violet-flame decree with a preamble.
The preamble to a decree is like an invitation. In it we lovingly ask the violet
-flame beings--Ascended Masters and angels--for help and guidance.
We generally begin our decrees by saying, "In the name of the beloved mighty vic
torious Presence of God, I AM in me, and my very own beloved Holy Christ Self...
" and include our favorite Masters and saints. Our connection to them is through
our I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self.
The I AM Presence is our permanent, perfect God Presence. The Holy Christ Self i
s our Higher Self and inner teacher who initiates and guides our soul on her pat
h to union with God.
Here is a preamble that you can use and add to:
In the name of the beloved mighty victorious Presence of God, I AM in me, and my
very own beloved Holy Christ Self, I call to beloved Saint Germain and the ange
ls of the seventh ray. I ask you to___________.
I ask that my call be multiplied and used to assist all souls on this planet who
are in need.
I thank you and I accept it done this hour in full power, according to the will
of God.
5. Give the decree slowly at first, then speed up as you give more repetitions o
f the decree.
The first time you give a decree, you will want to repeat it slowly and delibera
tely. Endow each word with intense love for God. There is great power in giving
a decree slowly. But there is a different power that comes as you gradually incr
ease the speed and raise the pitch of the decree.
Mark Prophet used to compare this acceleration to a train. It starts out "chug..
.chug" and pretty soon it's going "chug-a-chug-a" and then "chug-chug-chug-chug!
" The faster it goes, the greater the action.
As you increase the speed of your decrees, you will find that they are more effe
ctive in raising your vibration. The increase in speed should not be artificial.
It should feel natural to you; the decree should almost speed itself up.
If you try any of the Save the World with Violet Flame tapes listed in the back
of this book, you will hear the correct way to increase your speed.
6. Use visualizations to assist your spiritual work.
Most people don't see the violet flame in action with their physical eyes. But w
hen you close your eyes and concentrate on the en-ergy center between your eyebr
ows, you can sometimes "see" the violet flame at work with your inner eye.
To people who have developed their spiritual sight, the violet flame looks like
fire, in colors ranging from dark indigo and brilliant amethyst to violet pink.
You may see these flames burning through karmic debris.
Sometimes it helps to imagine this debris as chunks of wood or chunks of tarry s
ubstance breaking off from your electronic belt and crackling in the flame. They
tumble and bounce and then disappear in a puff of white smoke.
Once you have memorized some of the violet-flame decrees, you can close your eye
s and try the following visualizations.

A Violet-Flame Pillar
When you invoke the violet flame, you can vis-ualize yourself surrounded by a vi
olet-flame pillar about six feet in diameter and about nine feet high. It can ex
tend from beneath your feet to well over the top of your head.
See the violet flame come to life as if you were looking at a movie. The flames
rise and pulsate around you in different shades of purple, pink and violet.
Around this violet-flame pillar, you can see your tube of light, an even bigger
pillar of white light that protects and seals the violet flame.
Keep this visualization in mind while you are decreeing and throughout the day.
Every time you think of it, you are reinforcing this image.
Healing by the Whirling Violet-Flame Spheres
This visualization can help heal your four lower bodies. As you give a violet-fl
ame decree, imagine a large sphere of violet light forming around you. As you sp
eed up the decree, see the sphere begin to whirl like a tilt-a-whirl at an amuse
ment park. See it spinning faster and faster. This visualization steps up the vi
olet flame and accelerates the vibration of your cells, atoms and electrons.
Next see smaller violet-flame spheres superimposed over each organ in your body.
See the action of the violet-flame spheres removing any darkness that may be th
e basis of disease and consuming it instantly. Then see the violet flame perfect
ing your organs.
Ask your I AM Presence and Holy Christ Self and the violet-flame angels to susta
in these violet-flame spheres around you throughout the day. Reinforce your requ
est with periodic revisualization of the spheres. Experiment with this visualiza
tion and see how it makes you feel.
7. Use violet flame every day.
One of the best times to give your decrees is in the early morning. You'll find
that if you decree first thing in the morning, your day will go much smoother.
You can make a specific request for the transmutation of whatever mental, emotio
nal or physical problems you are working on in your life. You can work on relati
onships with your friends and loved ones.
8. Use the violet flame to heal the records of past lives.
After you have been giving the violet flame for some time, you may find yourself
recalling past lives. Recalling a past life is not something to be taken lightl
y. When you become aware of it, the karma (positive and negative) of that life c
omes to the surface.
The negative karma is like Pandora's box. Once you open it, you will want to rol
l up your sleeves, spend your time serving life and make calls to the violet-fla
me angels each day to transmute the karmic debris. It can take as little as six
months of concentrated violet-flame decrees to balance the karma of one past lif
e. This is indeed a great gift that is given to us by Saint Germain.
As you give the violet flame, pictures of past lives may come before your mind.
You may see yourself as you were in ages long past. Or you may just have the imp
ression that you were in a particular time or place. If the records are painful-
-and they usually are because your soul is crying out for resolution--you may fe
el sadness or regret. But you will also feel liberated because you know that as
you give your violet-flame decrees, you are transmuting the records of your past
karma.
When you become aware of these memories, do not attempt to suppress them. Instea
d, focus your attention on the light in your heart. Imagine the memory being sat
urated with the violet flame until the form disappears. Then let go of the memor
y and let a bright white sun replace it in your mind's eye. You may also want to
use the eraser visualization that I gave to Cynthia.
There are two elements you are transmuting when you use the violet flame to deal
with past karmic records. The first is the emotional and soul memory of the eve
nts that are causing you pain. The second is the karmic energy that binds you to
those you have hurt or to those who have hurt you. I like to call this the "cau
se, effect, record and memory" of karma, which includes all energy that you have
tied up in negative thoughts or feelings about the past.
Past-life records are like files on your computer. You need to erase the negativ
e records and memories in order to make room for the positive. As you do this th
rough the violet flame, you are freeing your soul to move on to higher levels of
existence.
Psychotherapy gives you keys to understanding yourself and to making better choi
ces in your life. You may gain resolution with someone you know because you've s
een a negative record of the past and you've decided to make it positive in this
life. When you add violet-flame decrees and service to those you have wronged,
the combined action can clear the cause, effect, record and memory of these pain
ful incidents.
And it's only by getting beyond those records, like Cynthia did, that you can cl
ear the way for your soul to receive new opportunities. You can accelerate your
soul's progress in this life and thus make your way more quickly to the goal of
union with God.
Each time you balance the karma of a certain lifetime, your Higher Self may reve
al to you the next past life that you need to tackle--and the next and the next.
It's important not to feel burdened by the negative record of a past life. We h
ave all made mistakes in the past or we wouldn't be here today. Forgive yourself
and move on. Be grateful that you are here and that you have the opportunity to
erase those records with the violet flame.
Once you start, keep on going. One step begins the trek of a thousand miles. Eac
h time you transmute the records of a past life with the violet flame, you gain
a new sense of your soul's liberation. And by and by you will realize that you a
re taking command of your soul's destiny.
9. Expand the scope of your invocations to include cleaning up karmic debris in
your house, your neighborhood and the planet.
As you practice directing the violet flame to help others, you can begin to thin
k of your aura as a violet-flame fountain where all whom you meet can come and d
rink. Remind yourself to always have that violet flame available for someone in
need.
Not only does the violet flame dissolve your own karma, but it can also dissolve
group or planetary karma that comes from such things as wars or accumulated inj
ustices. In the next story you will see how Paula used the violet flame to trans
mute some of the most horrible records of the Civil War.

The Violet Fire Consumes Battle Records

Paula knows that the violet flame can do more than transmute records of personal
karma. It can also transmute the memories and karma of terrible events of the p
ast, such as murders, injustices and even wars.
Paula and her family feel a strong connection with the South and the Civil War.
One evening while she was in a group violet-flame decree session, she had a visi
on of the violet flame transmuting the records of one of the bloodiest battles o
f the Civil War--Shiloh.
The battle began early in the morning of April 6, 1862, when 42,000 Union soldie
rs were camping near Shiloh church, a simple log structure close to the Tennesse
e river. The troops, who expected no attack and did not dig defensive fortificat
ions, were surprised by a Confederate army. The battle lasted two days and ended
with the retreat of the Confederate army after 25,000 Union reinforcements arri
ved.
Yet it could hardly be called a Union victory. Over 20,000 Americans were killed
--almost as many blue as gray. On the first night, the wounded left on the battl
efield huddled together for warmth, with some dying in the arms of their enemies
.
More Americans were killed during the battle of Shiloh than in any Civil War bat
tle up to that time and more than in any of the three previous wars the nation h
ad fought. One field was so covered with bodies that, as General Grant wrote, "i
t would have been possible to walk across [the entire field] in any direction, s
tepping on dead bodies without a foot touching the ground." (6)
Such a bloody battle left scars on the souls of everyone who participated--those
who survived and those who perished. And it left a scar on the soul of a nation
.
As Paula was decreeing, she had a vision of the violet flame transmuting the rec
ords of the event. She saw Shiloh at the end of the first day of fighting, when
both sides had retreated, leaving the field to the dead and wounded. She wrote:
A light bleak rain was falling, causing the campfires to smoke, adding to the sm
oke from the day's fighting. This smoke hung low over a field terrible to behold
. Dead, dying, wounded and exhausted men lay everywhere. I held my breath and be
held this scene and its pain.
Then, falling with the rain, came violet sparkles of light. This grew until the
rain became a violet-flame downpour that eddied in pools around the bodies neare
st to me. And then the real beauty began.
The violet light entered the hearts of the dead, who were all gray looking, and
began to pulse out from there. From the deepest levels within their bodies, the
violet light radiated out until the soldiers became violet, then pink and, final
ly, alive! Each soldier was surrounded by hundreds of angels and elemental being
s who breathed the violet flame into him.
Wounded soldiers had the violet flame run over their wounds until they were seal
ed up and healed. As the soldiers were either healed or raised from the dead, th
ey turned to help the heavenly beings bring others near them to life.
I saw one group of Confederate soldiers come alive and then help a Union drummer
boy who had fallen in their midst. With great tenderness, they lifted him and h
is banner of the Union to their shoulders and paraded him around the field.
Thousands of men, bathed in the violet flame, just rolled out of death, stood up
and hugged their fellowmen, regardless of uniform. I felt such infinite bliss a
s I watched this joyful vision spread across the entire battlefield--thousands o
f lightbearers rejoicing, thoroughly removed from the pain of the past and in an
awakened Union at last.
The vision expanded as if I was moving upward, so I could see for miles around t
he battlefield. Angels were bringing fathers, wives and family members who had s
uffered the loss of these brave men to this grand reunion.
From Shiloh, the violet flame swept over the other battlefields--Gettysburg, Chi
ckamauga, Antietam. It went battle- field after battlefield and ever outward unt
il I was looking down on North America and seeing the United States blazing like
a violet jewel on the planet.
Paula was witnessing the transmutation of some of the records of these horrible
battles. It's important for people to routinely direct the violet flame into the
se records for the healing of our planet. Even though the souls of those involve
d in this battle have most likely reincarnated, the record of the battle remains
embedded in their psyches until it is transmuted by the violet flame.
Each time we direct the violet flame into records of battles and bloodshed, we t
ransmute a little more of the karma and heal a little more of the scar. Paula's
vision, then, demonstrated how each one of us can help to heal the scars of the
world with the violet flame.

People have different experiences when they use violet-flame decrees. Some repea
t them diligently for months before they have any confirmation that the decrees
are working. Others get spectacular results the first time they open their mouth
s.
You can work out your own violet-flame routine in communion with your Higher Sel
f. You can add the violet flame to your daily prayers or meditations, whatever t
hey are.
If you haven't already skipped to the next section to try a violet-flame decree,
I encourage you to try one now. Before you start, close your eyes and breathe a
fervent prayer, asking your Higher Self to show you the value of violet flame i
n your life.
Repeat the decree 3 or 9 times to begin with. When you're ready, you can begin t
o increase your repetitions. Repeating a decree 36, 40, 108 or even 144 times ca
n access more of God's power and your own spiri-tual resources.
I hope you will know the joy of becoming one of the thousands of people all over
the world who have transformed their lives with this miracle solvent--the highe
st gift of God to the universe.
