Description: MOTOTRBO 32MB repeaters may be identified by the tanapa


number of the repeater. The model number of the repeaters did not change!
Models: All MOTOTRBO 32MB repeaters
Detailed Information:
MOTOTRBO 32MB repeaters may be identified by the tanapa number of the
repeater. The Tanapa suffix may have change from an A tanapa to either a
B or a C tanapa suffix. Please note that some Tanapas did not change
and could still be at an A level revision. The 360 MHz and the 800/900 MHz
products repeaters will still be at an A suffix. Please see the following list of
tanapa nunmbers:

Another way to determine if a repeater is a 32 MEG repeater or not would be


to open the repeater and see if there is a fan switch located on the top of the
connector board and if the repeater has a newer indicator board. Please see
the following figures:

The 32 MB Repeater supports all of MOTOTRBO repeater released features


but the 8MB repeaters do not support features like the R1.9 Linked Capacity
Plus feature, Enhanced GPS, IP Repeater Remote Programming feature, the
R2.2 Wire Line Voice and Data feature, and possibly the newer features of
the future.
