Letter of Appeal
Dear Sir:
Comes now, the undersigned Mrs. Mosmira Casan Maca-Ayong, by herself,
most respectfully alleges:
1. This pertains to the denied PVAO pension claim application of Mrs.
Mosmira C. Maca-Ayong due to her husband, the late Abdullah Barato
Maca-Ayong, a WWII Veteran, who died on January 8, 1997 at Lumbac,
Tugaya, Lanao Del Sur.
2. That there was substantial basis to approve the said pension, the
antecedents, are as follows:
3. That undersigned and the above decedent, their marriage was solemnized
through Muslim rites on April 15, 2981 at Lumbac, Tugaya, Lanao Del Sur.
4. That their union were blesses with five (5) children namely:
a.
b.
c.
d.
e.
Name
Date
Rasmia Casan Maca-Ayong
Alinor Casan Maca-Ayong;
Sainoden Casan Maca-Ayong
Johaira Casan Maca-Ayong
Jalanine Casan Maca-Ayong (deceased)
of Birth
January 2, 1983
March 10, 1985
June 25, 1988
July 5, 1990
5. However, during the PNP Spot report conducted to the undersigned, the
questioned propounded was how many children the undersigned and his
deceased husband presently had, however, she thought that the
investigator was referring to her children that was presently living with her
and, thusly, mistakenly stating that she have only two children with her,
Johaira (youngest child) and the late Jalanine, considering that her latter
child was entombed also within the locality in Lumbac, Tugaya, Lanao Del
Sur, were the truth and in fact, she bore her late husband five (5) children
whose name hereinabove listed.
6. As such, when she filled up the identity form, she was able to divulge the
correct number of children she and her late husband have, which are five
(5), because the manner of the questions as set forth therein were plain
and direct and the discrepancy done on the spot report can be rectified by
merely executing an affidavit of correction to the effect.
7. To shed light with respect to the name Mosmira Abdullah as appears on
the death certificate of the above named deceased veteran, declaring her
relationship as daughter, the same was true as the latter was the
daughter of the deceased veteran with his first wife, the late Endeco K.
Tarabo. As it can be gleaned, the daughters name was Mosmira Abdullah,
which is a presumption that the latter was already married based on the
tradition of Islam, the daughter, when she enter into married life, is
obliged to carry the first name of her father, which is Abdullah, to
determine the ancestral lineage.
You utmost reconsideration regarding the above matter will be highly appreciated.
More power to you Sir and God Bless.
Respectfully yours,
