Halo BI can be used to develop a Manufacturing Analysis environment from JD Edwards source data.
This document describes the out of the box features which is further customized according to the
your unique installation and your business requirements.
The solution provides Manufacturing Metrics to compare production standards for material usage,
labor, and machine run time to actual production usage and nished goods produced.
Transformation logic includes conversions to primary unit of measure and to the accounting standard
cost and support for scal calendars.

Product

The dimension key is the Short Item Number from the Item Master, which joins to the
Short Item Number in the Sales Order tables. The dimension attributes are extracted
from the category codes utilized in the Item Master and the User Dened Control table.

Business Unit

The dimension key is the Business Unit code from the Business Unit Master,
which joins to the Business Unit in the Sales Order tables. The dimension attributes are
extracted from the category codes utilized in the Business Unit Master, Company Master,
and the User Dened Controltable.

Component

The dimension key is the Company number from the Company Master, which joins
to the Company number in the Accounts Receivable Detail table. The dimension attributes
are extracted from the category codes utilized in the Company Master and
the User Dened Control table.

Company

The dimension key is the Company number from the Company Master, which joins to the
Company number in the Sales Order tables. The dimension attributes are extracted from
the category codes utilized in the Company Master and the User Dened Control table.

Order Type

The dimension key is the Order Type key from the Order Types dened in the User
Dened Control table, which joins to the Order Type code in the Sales Order tables.

Work Order Number

Work order number from the work order table. Due to the size of this dimension,
and the Value.
This provides from an analytical standpoint, this is only available at the drill
through level.
