INTRODUCTION
This paperwork is aimed to focus on the establishing of English Language Society club
within the students in the Teacher Training Institute Tawau Campus (IPGK Tawau).

RATIONAL
The rational of this establishment of this club is to give teacher trainees experiences in
handling English Language activities outside the classroom. It is also to equip teacher
trainees with social and communicative skills by involving themselves with the club activities.

OBJECTIVES

To foster cooperative and collaborative skills among teacher trainees.


To give teacher trainees exposure in handling co-curricular activities
To foster creative and innovative thinking skills among teacher trainees by conducting

interesting activities to promote English


To equip teacher trainees with knowledge, skills and teachers ethic through handling
co-curricular activities

English Language Society Club as the medium and platform towards improving the quality of
character and personality of the teacher trainees as well as promoting English Language in
the institute.

MISSION
1. To bring all teacher trainees together and allowing them to experience and
communicate using English Language
2. To promote and encourage the sharing of ideas through talks, debates, competitions
and various activities using English as the medium of communication.
3. To serve society through various cooperative efforts and relevant activities.

The establishment of this club will be able to give opportunity for the teacher trainees to get
