CLASS IV(Session 2015-16)


UNIT 1
Learning objectives:
1. To recognize common simple mathematical relationships both
numerical and logical in everyday life.
2. To be able to calculate with confidence and accuracy,
simple examples in the four operations of the numbers.
3. To identify two or three dimensional shapes, describe them
with confidence.
SUGGESTIONS TO THE PARENTS
1. Daily practice of sums should be given in practice
copy .
2. Children should be encouraged to buy things (eggs,
butter, bread, milk etc) so that they are able to learn.
3. Tables should be drilled.
4. Children should be encouraged to solve puzzles in
newspaper.
5. Correction work should be done regularly.
