Hello MDS Parents and Dancers!

Hope everyone is able to enjoy this beautiful Fall
weather! As the weather gets colder, it is a perfect
time to mark all of your dancers clothing and shoes!
Please make sure that all winter jackets are marked
to avoid confusion after class time. Be sure to mark
your calendars for the Halloween Party Week and
check out our new award requirements for the
Perfect Attendance, Proper Clothing/Shoes and
Flawless Hair Awards!

MDS Halloween Party!

Week of October 26th October 30th
Dancers can wear their
Halloween costumes to class!
We will play Halloween games, free
tumble and eat lots of candy during
classes this week! Please make
adjustments to the costumes as
needed so they are comfortable and
able to move freely! Looking
forward to a great party week!

We want to make dance a fun and

enjoyable experience for all our
dancers! We are starting to have some
issues with hallway and studio behavior.
Please be sure to remind your dancer of
the following hallway and studio rules:

Hallway benches are for sitting only

NOT standing.

No tumbling in the hallway or studio

without a tumbling mat.

Please do not run or yell while in the

hallway or studio.
Please make sure that you are
supervising your child, MDS is not
responsible for them outside of their
scheduled class time.
Thank you for your understanding and
cooperation on this matter!

We will begin our judging on October 1st for the

Perfect Attendance Award. This award will be
presented during our annual recital in May. In order to
receive this award dancers must attend all regularly
scheduled classes from now until recital!
Good luck dancers!

Beginning October 1st each week we will track your

dancer for the following things:
Hair pulled back and pinned in a pony or bun
Proper dance clothing for class
Proper dance shoes for class
No gum in class
At the end of each month all dancers that receive
perfect scores on their chart will be given a special treat
or reward during class time! Encourage your dancers to
come to class prepared J
