Summary
The main purpose of this assignment is to explore the effect of using project management
tools and techniques on project success as well as the relationship between adoption of
project management tools and project success.
The researchers want to study that how we can avoid failure and achieve higher success rates
in projects by using project management tools and techniques. They focus on exploring the
relationship and impact of using project management practices and project success. The
literature on Project Management (PM) shows that, in spite of advancement in project
management processes, tools and systems, project success has not significantly improved
most of the projects cannot be completed within time frame and set budget. The researchers
want to fill this gap by evaluating both the relationship between project management
practices and project results and the relationship between project management context and
project results.
The findings show that adoption of project management tools and techniques have positive
effect on project success and their use have positive effect on project success.
The use of project management tools positively and significantly affect the project success
and use of project management tools significantly affected by learning support. Most of the
projects cannot be completed in time and within the budget due to ineffective use of project
management tools and techniques we can avoid project failure by effective use of tools and
techniques.
Finally we can conclude that the use of project management tools & techniques has positive
effect on project success and we can make the project successful by effective use of tools and
techniques.

These findings help organizations to understand how to align their project management
methodologies to optimize effectiveness in use, which should result in higher project success
rates and reduce the complaints about project management methodologies.
