Who are we?
At Peak Academy, we prepare candidates for life. At our flagship school,
we developed a student-centered educational philosophy placing
emphasis on an interactive learning environment, facilitated by leading
Cambridge practitioners and expert tutors.

Our Culture and Values

We have found that candidates perform best when they are in a dynamic academic environment,
supported by motivated and experienced tutors.
We offer friendly but structured surroundings in which candidates are encouraged to fulfil their
potential. Individuality and personal growth is encouraged; self-discipline and accountability is
expected.
We aim to create an environment free of peer pressure and prejudice, embracing ethnic and cultural
diversity and all the opportunities this brings.
Self-identity is where education comes to rest. We will support the students as they grow and
discover who they are.

Students should be inspired to learn, and to take ownership of their own studies with the guidance
of their tutors.

Our Educational Method

As a priority, candidates are expected to commit themselves to learning and advancing their
academic careers. In order to facilitate this, we offer a structured environment where candidates
combine class attendance with supervised self-study.

Our timetable prescribes formal teaching for about fifty percent of the academic day. Classes do not
exceed a tutor-student ratio of 1:8 (they are usually much lower than this, in fact.) This allows for
each candidates academic needs to be met, at any level. If a candidate needs extra help, we can
provide it; and if they are leaping ahead, we can facilitate the jump.
The other half of the day is dedicated to individual study or group study. We encourage students to
find the learning modality that suits them, and will offer any help they need to discover the methods
with which they will flourish.

We understand that many candidates have been through a failing educational system that has stifled
their academic and personal progress. We offer close attention to their personal growth, though
students are expected to assume responsibility for their own success.
To us, working at your own pace means getting to know your own potential, and discovering
where and how you can excel.

What we offer

We believe that a stimulating and open-minded environment will help them attain the perceptive,
social, and emotional skills needed to become upstanding global citizens.
Education goes beyond academics. This is where we learn about ourselves, and begin to make
choices about how we will interact with the rest of the world it is this, after all, that we will be
tested on for the rest of our lives. Lets all aim for an A.
