2 C A S T I N G D A Y : S A T U R D A Y , S E P T. 2 6 th

Location :
Hotel Albatros Resort , Mamaia ( Next to Hotel Condor )

Timeline :
15:00 : Arrival of the Actors and Team
15:10 : Presentation of the meeting / Quick exchange of the director with the new candidates
15:20 : Make-up testing on the actors / Casting of the candidates .
15:40 : Casual Interviews of the actors , crew and candidates. (Possibly at the beach ~ Weather )
16:00 : Photoshoot
16:20 : Dynamic Shots ( walking , running )
16:40 : Establishing the film shooting agenda
16:55 : End of Casting
Drinks and snacks will be made available during pauses .

Instructions for the Actors :

The actors selected at the 1st casting in May , are invited to read the synopsis a few more
times before talking about it on camera .

Instructions for the Casting Candidates :

During the casting per se and during all recordings , the candidates must remain quietly
seated on the chairs at the back of the room .
The candidates will come one by one standing in front of the camera and microphone next to
the director during the dialogues.
Feel free to ask questions or to re-record a take. Only the best takes will be evaluated.

Not very expressive or funny

Rather cold
Doesn't have any real friends
Doesn't trust anyone
Remains very mysterious
Likes to stare intensely into people's eyes

Often looks sleepy
Loves taking naps
Drinks a lot of alcohol and smokes heavily
Doesn't really understand social norms
Extremely sensible to injustice

Amelia Lorenzini
Personality:
Loving and caring
She doesn't speak much , but when she does , she speaks with her heart
Her eyes are very expressive , like the warm gaze of a worried mother on her child
She smiles a lot
She's very fit, agile and athletic
Calm and soft voice with an angel-like tone
She is always confident and rarely scared by anything
Example : Vera in La Piel que Habito
Appearance:
Stylish Classic Look , wears bright colors: Colored dresses and skirts , rarely jeans .
Long hair , non-attached, free in the wind
Fair skin
Average height, thin

Magdalena Bathory
Personality
Troubled eccentric mind
Clearly Schizophrenic and manipulative
Mood swings : depressive , cuddly , sadistic or paranoiac , depending on the days
Likes to flirt everywhere, all the time
Very talkative , makes lots of bad jokes, makes fun of people
Very susceptible
Speaks with slightly provoking voice, uses many swear words
Bears great hate for children and parents (she was beaten as a child)
Doesn't tolerate people contradicting her
When the wounds of her childhood hurt too much she overdoses on drugs
Very fragile on the inside , she rejects true love as a feeling
Example : Between Mathilda in Lon and Ma-Ma in Dredd
Appearance:
Red hair, red nails, red lipstick, red contacts , red jewelry
Almost only wears red clothes: red jeans , shorts, skirts, shirts , leather jackets
Keeps a very sexy appearance : shorts, heels / high top sneakers, often shows a lot of skin

Frederic Berger
Personality:
Very professional at all times
Highly intelligent looking and sounding
Speaks with a calm tone and monotonic voice, always very polite and focused

Very persuasive and influencing
Narcissistic and extremely proud of himself and his family (superiority complex)
Always confident in himself and his ideas
Seems warm and slightly fake in his emotions

Wears very formal clothing : Either a black suit or a white labcoat. Always with shirt , tie
and long polished shoes.

Personality:
The exact opposite of Alexander
Upbeat at all times , smiles a lot , especially when others look grim
Cracks up lots of awkward jokes, sometimes at inappropriate moments
Makes fun of himself and others
Extremely talkative, lots of hand gestures while talking
Manipulative and has great people skills
Flirts with girls , anywhere ,anytime
Childish way of talking , but very mature in his goals
Example: Farber in I,Robot , Owen in Jurassic World
Appearance:
Wears very informal clothing, Hawaiian shirts , flip flops
Brown hair, possibly with some blonde highlights
Close shave (contrasting with Alexander's light stubble )

Marie Margulis
Personality:
Troubled mind , sinister aura but hides it constantly behind a fake half-smile
Speaks slowly , quietly and ominously without moving .
Doesn't blink much while conversing , creepy feel , tilts her head to the side weirdly
Only reveals her true lunatic and sadistic face when
Avoids social contact outside her bar at all costs
Plays with people like pawns on a chessboard to satisfy her commands
Example: Farber in I,Robot , Jesse in Breaking Bad ,Owen in Jurassic World
Appearance:
Wears dull , boring clothes
Light and dull make-up
Tired look

MARIE
Oh Hello , young fellow I haven't seen your pretty face here in ages !
ALEX (sounds exhausted )
Hey Marie .. well .
* sighs *
.. I've been through a lot lately and... *looks down at his feet*
.. considering how much complaining Maddy gets to hear when she's with me...
I didn't wanna bother her with my stories at her work too
Life is already pretty fucking hard enough that way.
MARIE (worried mother feel)
Oh poor you... If that makes you feel any better: Life sucks for most people , most of the time .
*Pause* But it's all about enjoying the good parts in between that's what makes it all matter.
ALEX (smiles faintly)
You sound like my grandmother .. * chuckles *
MARIE
Now, watch your tongue, you fool! * jokingly *
* both chuckle *
MARIE
You need to hang in there Alex .. *soothing voice* .. Just hang in there ..
We're here for you, Maddy , Me you're safe with us. * she touches his shoulder*
ALEX ( tears up a bit )

MARIE

* Awkward silence *
ALBERT
Hum .. Yeah ! About last night Dude , Wow! That was like.. the bomb !! You earned it man !
* Goes for a pat on Alex's shoulder *
ALEX ( * Pissed * . Looks at Al's hand touching his shoulder and backing away , stares at him )
Huh .. I don't recall us ever being friends... Man .
ALBERT ( minimizes , laughs)
Tss tss . C'mon Alex , you're still not over this shit ?? That was fucking highschool man I mean
I was bullied too , you know? Like .. it's just what err'body was doing ! * chuckles *
ALEX
Yeah... right... from a bully to a poker scammer .. whatever , have a nice life .
ALBERT
Fuck okay look, Dude , I'm sorry ,alright ? I'm sorry for trying to fucking scam you But..
*Pauses*
But just how the fuck did you know this shit? *Loses Temper* You were goddamn drunk and you

with me to the next Poker night and we'll split 50-50 so ? How'd that sound ?
ALEX

* Alex and Magdalena playing Rock-Paper-Scissors *

MADDY (frustrated and laughing at the same time)

Screw this, man ! How do you always win !?
ALEX
* chuckles , and looks away *
MADDY
Tsss, always ignoring me huh ? Whatever * playful *
Hey honey , you know I had a really weird dream last night?
ALEX (tired voice)
Oh yeah? * yawn * Tell me more
MADDY
Yeah , never mind... * turns away *
ALEX
Oh come on... No really, tell me !
MADDY (chuckles and smiles)
Okay fine... * serious voice * It was dark, I was in a weird place that looked like a kid's bedroom..
the walls were painted red and black , I was lying in a small bed, awake ...I could hear the wind
blowing through a wooden door and my own heart beating, slowly toom-toom toomtoom....toom-toom .. * pauses * but then I realized that something .. someone... was moving on
top of me ..
ALEX
Well nothing new here , haha * chuckles *
MADDY ( Looks at him , doesn't find the joke funny)
Anyway... * sighs, and continues * I saw a knife on the nightstand I tried to grab it .. I wanted
to stab that man in the heart, until he bled to death. . But I couldn't move my body... I panicked.. .I
looked up and I saw his two big eyes wide open, staring at me... everything turned grey, everything
slowed down... It felt as though he was diving into my brain...*pauses, void look*Then I woke up .
ALEX (fakes a smile)
Jeez, you're a crazy one , aren't ya ! * playfully *
